Your Chronicles of Victory

‎Good Morning fam!

‎We are still in the month of February, a month of conquest. I want you to keep this in mind and move with that perspective. A month that is declared victorious, so make use of this opportunity to conquer.

‎Let's pray:

‎Dear Lord, we love you, we thank you for today's bread and the wisdom you freely give. Guide us, fill us with your strength in areas where we are weak and fatigued. Let us find rest in you, we thank you for your love, Amen.

‎Let's break bread:

‎What are Chronicles?

‎They are records of events in order of occurrence, which points to its structure, designed to be a continuous record of important events.

‎Your Chronicles of Victory:

‎Is your personal record of all the victories God has given you in your life. This includes the testimonies you've witnessed miracles you've received and words you've received.

‎Why do you need to keep a record?

‎•The tendency to forget which allows the enemy to play mind games with us, especially when we face problems.

‎•To be able to keep our stand of victory and not let our territory or victory be taken away from us.

‎•It helps you keep inventory of what God has won for you. It makes you aware and helps you to hold it properly, plus it allows you to remember what you are capable of when you partner with God.

‎•It helps you shrink the size of a problem and brings tranquility and peace of mind when you face the giants.

‎•It prevents thieves. If you don't know what you have or the worth of what you have or how you have what you have, you become prey to the enemies lies and then loose what God has given you.

‎Example:

‎If God has told you, you are made in His image and likeness, this means your beauty, creative ability, your laughter, your gender, your spicy flavour, your forgiving heart, your kindness, your confidence is all from Him.

‎So when the enemy wants to attack, he uses contradictory words, it can come us inner thoughts or verbal words and actions of others.

‎You might have someone tell you, you're not handsome or beautiful or you might look in the mirror and you begin to highlight all the parts of your body you don't like.

‎Before you realise, you don't feel confident, or you don't like yourself, you begin to be timid and feel the need to be perfect or like someone else. Now your gift of confidence, your laughter, your assurance of your identity is stolen.

‎See your confidence as your God given territory, so get the squatters which are the negative thoughts out!

‎How do you do this? By remembering and visiting your chronicles, which has all the words God has spoken about you. Then fix your eyes on his excellence and love. He made you and loves you just the way you are. In Genesis 1:31 says God looked at all things and pronounced it good.

‎Our main scripture that brought me to this fine dining is found in Judges 11.

‎Here you see a man, Jephthah of Gilead, who has now become a judge of Israel and is facing the claims made by the Ammonite King.

‎This king accuses them of stealing their land during the time of his ancestors, however that is not what happened. The Ammonite king now wants to possess the land and Jephthah sends a reply stating the record of events (it's a long reply, but I will share some key points but read the whole chapter it will bless you).

‎Judges 11:19-23(NLT)

‎19 "Then Israel sent messengers to king Sihon of the Amorites, who ruled from Heshbon, asking for permission to cross through his land to get to their destination.

‎20 But King Sihon didn't trust Israel to pass through his land. Instead he mobilised his army at Jahaz and attacked them.

‎21 But the Lord, the God of Israel, gave his people victory over king Sihon. So Israel took control of all the land of the Amorites, who lives in that region,

‎22 from the River Arnon to the River Jabbok, and from the eastern wilderness to the Jordan.

‎22 "So you see, it was the Lord, the God of Israel, who took away the land from the Amorites and gave it to Israel. Why, then, should we give it back you?

‎Whenever someone says things that bring you down, see it as a joy stealing trap, don't let it rest on you, shake it off and find a way to keep your joy alive. Play music and remember the Lord's goodness.

‎Let's pray:

‎Father we thank you for today, we receive your word, help us to keep our personal chronicles of victory, let us be reminded of who you are daily, we love you, Amen.

‎Do you want to know Jesus, the Lord of Heaven's Armies, the One who gives victory to His people say with me:

‎Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen!

‎God loves and sees you!
