Bless the Lord family! There is nothing like spending your time with God. Both night and day. Let incense arise.
Father we bless you and are grateful plus filled with your love, we thank you for todays bread which responds to our needs, we need you each day and we thank you for your constant, faithful love, Amen.
Let's eat:
This a story of a man named Caleb. He was an Israelite who remained committed to the Lord during the leadership of Moses and also the leadership of Joshua this was the time the people of Israel walked in the wilderness headed to the promised land.
Many people in His generation didn't make it. He was like a remnant left both him and Joshua.
Now they've arrived at the promise land and He makes a request for the land the Lord promised him for he wholeheartedly followed the land.
Joshua 14:10-14 (NLT)
Now, as you can see, the Lord has kept me alive and well as promised for all these forty five years since Moses made this promose-even while Israel wandered in the wilderness. Today I am eighty-five years old.
11 I am as strong now as I was when Moses sent me on the journey, and I can still travel and fight as well as I could then.
Note: God kept him, gave him youthful strength and a heart to travel which is to expand and fight which is to take hold or claim.
12 So give me the hill country that the Lord promises me. You will remember that as scouts we found the descendants of Anak living there in great, walled towns. But if the Lord is with me, I will drive them out of the land just as the Lord said."
Note: God said he would drive out the giant obstacles from the Land because He is with him. So we His children would walk and fight from the perspective of, we are One with God.
13 So Joshua blessed Caleb son of Jephunneh and gave Hebron to him as his portion of land.
14 Hebron still belongs to the descendants of Caleb son of Jephunneh the kenizzite because he wholeheartedly followed the Lord, the God of Israel!
Note: Receive your blessing. It will be a legacy from generation to generation. If you don't know what it is ask the Lord, He will show you, sometimes it's already in your hand but you haven't realised yet.
Father we thank you for this wholehearted blessing, lead us and let our hearts desire you more and more.
If you don't know Jesus but you desire to have a wholehearted relationship with Him say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
You are blessed wholeheartedly!
