Hi fam, it's great to have you here! Bless the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me bless His Holy Name!
It's a new day and I want us to position ourselves in a praise mode! Sing music and be grateful for His goodness.
Let's pray:
Father we bless you, we love you, we thank you for your word which is our bread, fill the longing of our hearts not with what we think we need but what you have purposed, let your Spirit fill us to the overflow with love, joy and peace. Amen.
Our message is from Matthew chapter 1,which explains the birth of Jesus, I will zoom in on some verses that ministered to me.
Matthew 1:20-21(NLT)
20 As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. "Joseph, son of David, "the angel said, "do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit.
21 And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
At this part of the story, Joseph who was engaged to Mary (Jesus Mother), became aware of the news and silently contemplated. He decided he wanted to break the engagement.
I can tell he thought of this as he laid on the bed to sleep, thinking and worried. Then an angel appears in a dream. Dreams are night visions you have when you are asleep.
The angel did some key things I want us to note:
•He called Joseph by Name, pointing out his lineage as the son of David and addressing his thoughts which stemed from fear, this is to let us know God sees us and is concerned about what concerns us plus knows our ancestry.
•He gave Joseph Assurance and confirmation, an opportunity to partner with God in this sudden turn of events.
•He gave Joseph the Name of the child and the purpose of the child. It points to a seed, when God gives you a dream it comes with a name and a purpose.
Plus it also has a process or a giving period, same here, as Jesus was in his mothers womb what He would do was already made known but it's fulfilment would begin 30 years later.
So don't give up when you don't see your dream materialize yet, it's in your womb, or you've birthed it and it's in its stages of growth.
Now what does the word "will' mean:
Will is also a verb, which is an action word, it means, "expressing inevitable events", "expressing facts about ability or capacity" and also "expressing future tense".
Matthew 1:23(NLT)
23 Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means 'God is with us'.
Our message today is:
You will conceive
You will give birth
You will Name it
God is with you through it all.
I'm not talking about normal birth, I'm talking about the birth of vision, purpose, projects, books, songs, softwares, creatives, thought leaders etc.
It will happen, meaning it's inevitable for God is with you.
Prayer:
Father we thank you for your word, we receive it, give us your power to keep moving forward, revive us when we feel worn out, with your peace and rest, we love you, Amen.
Do you want to have a relationship with Jesus? Say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sons, I believe you died on the cross ro reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
He loves you ❣️🔥💕
