What are you dieing to?

Welcome fam! Let's thank God together.
Dear Lord, thank you for a new day, thank you for new life and today's bread. Thank you for keeping us and covering us. Thank you for directing is. Most of all we love you for loving us. You are faithful, kind and true, we appreciate and are grateful for all you do, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Fam, today we would be having a front seat in the life of Samson, this is, a moment, of a change in narrative. Last night, the Holy Spirit reminded me to pray for and about something that disturbed me from time to time. He spoke through these scriptures:
Psalm 69:1(NLT)
1 Save me, O God, for the floodwaters are up to my neck.
And I received an immediate reply that is:
Psalm 68:35(NLT)
35 God is awesome in his sanctuary. The God of Israel gives power and strength to his people.
The fact that it's the scripture before the scripture to ask for help let's me know that before I prayed or called to him, He already answered.
Now in the book of Judges, before Samson's final victory he prayed to the Lord:
Judges 16:28
28 Then Samson prayed to the Lord, "Sovereign Lord, remember me again O God, please strengthen me just one more time. With one blow let me pay pack the Philistines for the loss of my two eyes."
The two eyes represent: His clarity, vision, purpose, mission, dreams, goals and everything God has created him to be.
Judges 16:29-30(NLT)
29 Then Samson put his hands on two central pillars that held up the temple. Pushing against them with both hands,
30 he prayed, "Let me die with the Philistines." And the temple crashed down on the Philistine rulers and all the people. So he killed more people when he died than he had during his entire life time.
Samson always had an attraction to the Philistines but this time he realised what it cost him.
My question is "What a we dieing to?"
We are dieing to everything that pushed us away from our vision, everything that led us in the opposite direction of our call and who God made us to be. And everything that we are used to that stands in the way.
Example: A desire to have friends but scared of being hurt, you have to die to that fear and use the strength God gave you to boldly make friends.
Let's pray:
Father reveal to us the areas we need to die to in our lives, it can be fear anger, shyness, laziness, addictions please point it out and help us to die to those things and step outside our comfort zone, we thank you for answered prayers, Amen.
Jesus, is here and loves you, He wants to give you rest and inner peace from all the battles you've faced alone, He wants to be your comforter and companion, if you agree, say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
God sees you and loves you.
