We are filled with the Spirit of the Lord

Hi fam, praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, for His worthy. I am happy to have you here and thankful you are part of the family.

Father thank you for your word, speak to us according to our needs and breathe your spirit on this word and in our lives, Amen.

Micah 3:8(NLT)

8 But as for me, I am filled with power - with the Spirit of the Lord. I am filled with justice and strength to boldly declare Israel's sin and rebellion.

In chapter 3 of the book of Micah, you find the prophet Micah pronouncing judgement on Israel's leaders and prophets.

He points out their heart posture which loves evil, their actions against the people whom God has called them to lead.

Prophet Micah also points out that a heart posture like that wouldn't hear from God, he warns of false prophesy that leads God's people astray.

A side note, not everyone who leads you hears from God, so be careful what advice you take, test the word you receive with His word written in the bible and His promises to you, if it doesn't align don't move or shift position.

But in verse 8 prophet Micah speaks boldly and declares what He is filled with. Sometimes when you are surrounded by chaos all around you, you need to remind yourself of who you are and whose you are.

He said key things which I want us to declare in our lives today and anytime the enemy takes a swing at us. Say with me:

• I am filled with God's power.

• I am filled with the Spirit of the Lord

• I am filled with His justice and victory.

• I walk and stand boldly in His presence for I belong to Him.

• I am filled with His mission.

Amen!

Your posture should be of faith in the Lord and not yourself (pride). We are dependent on Him. This doesn't mean we don't believe in ourselves. We believe our partnership with God gives us the victory.

Our weapons are not carnal, our weapons are praises to the Name of the Lord, praises to the King of Kings, don't fight those who come against you, that battle isn't yours, it's the Lords.

Our praise is to let the whole universe know our God reigns and He is bigger than the problem.

Let's pray:

Father, we thank you for your love, we receive it, we thank you for your word and for making us strong, filled with your power, your spirit and for giving us victory. We love you and delight in your ways, Amen.
