Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people's faith.

‎Hi fam, I'm happy to write today's word. God is kind, good and gentle. He sees our struggles and knows our hearts. He loves us with unconditional love. Though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we would fear no evil for He is with us.

‎Let's pray:

‎Dear Lord we receive your word, we honour you, lead our hearts, give us peace and wholeness. We love you, Amen.

‎Let's break bread:

‎Romans 16:17-20(NLT)

‎17 And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people's faith by teaching contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them.

‎18 Such people are not serving Christ our Lord; they are serving their own personal interests. By smooth talk and glowing words they deceive innocent people.

‎19 But everyone knows that you are obedient to the Lord. This makes me very happy. I want you to be wise in doing right and stay innocent of any wrong.

‎20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the Grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

‎I want us to note down, key points:

‎•Contrary teachings: These are teachings that oppose your foundations, they don't edify or uplift you but cause confusion and unease in your heart.

‎•The message of God is simple and filled with love honour and respect for people and others, it's not showy, smooth with flowery words and doesn't serve personal interests but to lead people to the Lord, it allows you to form a deeper fellowship.

‎•To be wise in doing right and innocent of wrong is not by your ability but it's the Spirit of God who gives wisdom. How do you know I'm doing right? You receive peace and a knowing that He watches over you.

‎Let's pray:

‎Father let your Spirit flow within us, give us strength, wisdom, grace and peace. Rescue us from the evil one. Let us come out of this fight stronger and wiser, love you Lord, Amen.

‎If you want to know Jesus and receive His peace and Wisdom say with me:

‎Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
