Good morning fam! Victory belongs to Jesus. I am excited to be chosen to deliver this good news to you. Father has an important word for you and I, be open and receive.

Let's pray:

Father we love you, we thank you for your word, we thank you for seeing us and ordering our steps, we pray you open our eyes of understanding and let your Spirit rest on us daily, Amen.

Today our word is from the Book of Deuteronomy, I will be in chapter 9, the backdrop of this text - Is the people of Israel are free from slavery in Egypt by the mighty hand of God, being led to the promise land by Moses.

But before that, the first generation rebelled out of fear and disbelief causing them not to enter the land, but God promises to give the land to the next generation which are the children of the first generation.

Now the children who are now the second generation are about to enter the promise land and they receive instructions on Mount Sinai, the whole book of Exodus speaks of the journey and the book of Deuteronomy is where the instructions are given.

However, let's zoom in to our scripture.

Deuteronomy 9:1-4(NLT)

1 "Listen, O Israel! Today you are about to cross the River Jordan to take over the land belonging to nations much greater and more powerful than you. They live in cities with walls that reach to the sky!

2 The people are strong and tall - descendants of the famous Anakite giants. You've heard the saying, 'Who can stand up to the Anakite?

3 But recognize today that the Lord your God is the one who will cross over ahead of you like a devouring fire to destroy them. He will subdue them so that you will quickly conquer them and drive them out just as the Lord has promised.

4 After the Lord your God has done this for you, don't say in your hearts, 'The Lord has given us this land because we are such good people! 'No, it is is because of the wickedness of the other nations that he is pushing them out of your way.

Amen.

Today and this year, victory is set by God's Grace and given, the Lord of Heaven's Armies has gone ahead of us.

We are to remain in His presence fully committed and in every victory He gives us this year, remember it's not because of your works or goodness but because of His faithfulness, His love, His commitment to His Word spoken over your life, His mercy and many more wonderful reasons.

He only requires sincere devotion, love and obedience.

Let's pray:

Father we are excited, we thank you for your word, we receive it, we boldly take steps forward in your power, we receive your love, Amen.

Do you want to know Jesus, say with me:

Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.

Victory By God's Grace! God loves you!
