Unimpeded Growth

‎Hi fam! I'm excited to bring your good news and joy from Father. I am excited as we get ready to partake of this bread let's give thanks.

‎Father thank you for our daily bread, both night and day. You take care of all our needs and teach us your wisdom. We thank you for deep revelation of your majesty, let our thirst be quenched with your living water, Amen.

‎Lets break bread:

‎We are in the book of Ezra and this book talks about the rebuilding of God's Temple by the people free from Babylonian exile. The people of Israel are rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem and are stopped by the schemes of their enemies.

‎However in their second attempt to rebuild there is a major turn of events.

‎In the first attempt a letter was sent to the King Artaxerxes by their enemies and the construction was stopped. Now in the second attempt another letter was sent to the new king in Babylon called King Darius but this time a complete turnover happened, not just approval but with all resources needed funded.

Ezra 6:6-10(NLT)

‎6. So King Darius sent this message.

‎"Now therefore, Tattenai, governor of the province west of the River Euphrates, and Shethar-bozenai, and your colleagues and other officials west of the River Euphrates- stay away from there!

‎7. Do not disturb the construction of the Temple of God. Let it be rebuilt on its original state, and do not hinder the governor of Judah and the elders of the jews in their work.

‎8. "Moreover, I hereby decree that you are to help these elders of the Jews as they rebuild this Temple of God. You must pay the full construction cost, without delay, from my taxes collected in the province west of the River Euphrates so that the work will not be interrupted.

‎9. "Give the priests in Jerusalem whatever that is needed in the way of young bull, rams and male lambs for the burnt offerings presented to the God of Heaven. And without fail, provide them with as much wheat, salt, wine, and olive oil as they need each day.

‎10. Then they will be able to offer acceptable sacrifices to the God of heaven and pray for the welfare of the King and his sons.

Let's pray: Father thank you for this big love and provision, the same place which felt dry and empty you make it overflow with plenty, we receive it, teach us to steward it properly, we love you, Amen.

‎Do you want to know Jesus the restorer and provider, if yes say with me:

‎Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
