‎Hi Queen,

‎It's a new morning, I woke up really early today and it was refreshing having time to talk to God about personal things and be comforted.

‎You can try it too, He loves to be involved in your everyday life and is happy to do life with you.

‎The table is set let's give thanks:

‎Father thank you for your word, let it nourish and give us wisdom. Heal our hearts and remind us that nothing is impossible with you, love you, Amen.

‎Let's break bread:

‎Mark 15:9-10 (NLT)

‎9 “Would you like me to release to you this ‘King of the Jews’?” Pilate asked.

‎10 (For he realized by now that the leading priests had arrested Jesus out of envy.)

‎Notes:

‎Here Jesus stands trial before Pilate. The words that stood out to me was "out of envy". Now what is envy?

‎Envy is the feeling of discontent or resentment when you see someone else's success, skills, or possessions, combined with a strong wish to have those same things for yourself.

‎As we go about our day to day, we will all have our desires stirred, it's not wrong to have desires but what do you do with it.

‎If you see a friend or a stranger with a pretty purse that you like, you approach her and ask her how to also get some. It's a posture of wanting to learn how to be like someone.

‎It doesn't belittle you but gives you an opportunity to make a new friend and get first hand information on what to avoid.

‎In John Chapter 7, Jesus teaches openly in the temple, and as many marveled at His wisdom He gives them source of it, He shares with the people the source.

‎John 7:15-16 (NLT)

‎15 The people were surprised when they heard him. “How does he know so much when he hasn’t been trained?” they asked.

‎16 So Jesus told them, “My message is not my own; it comes from God who sent me.

‎Amen.

‎As Jesus walked the earth He taught how to speak with God and hear from God. The scriptures give us a vivid picture. For us it's very simple, beginning your day and ending your day with God.

‎Letting Him be tangible and alive to you like a close friend or beloved. He would lead you and assure you at all times. Let's pray.

‎Father, teach us and help us to overcome envy and see our desires as a learning opportunity. We receive your love, warmth and care, Amen.

‎If you want to have a deep intimate relationship with Jesus, say with me:

‎Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.

‎It's going to be alright,

‎Love Beth and Papa.
