The Second Message

Hi fam, welcome!

You are loved by God, do not be afraid, He is with you, things won't be like the past, He is leading you, if you can't do anything, lean on Him, trust Him.

He knows your heart, He doesn't come to judge you or cause pain. He comes to heal you. Healing and restoration can be painful at times.

You have to mourn the old and embrace the new. He says His Spirit will remain with you teaching you baby steps.

Lord let your Spirit pour and fill us, we thank you for your word which is our bread, let it satisfy each hunger and also let us be hungry for only you. Amen.

Our Message:

Haggai 2:19-23 (NLT)

19 I am giving you a promise now while the seed is still in the barn. You have harvested your grain, and your grape vines, fig trees, pomegranates, and olive trees have not yet produced their crops. But from this day on wards I will bless you.

20 On that same day, 18 December, the Lord sent this second message to Haggai:

21 "Tell Zerubbabel, the governor of Judah, that I am about to shake the heavens and the earth.

22 I will overthrow royal thrones and destroy the power of foreign kingdoms. I will overturn their chariots and riders. The horses will fall and their riders will kill each other.

23 "But when this happens, says the Lord of Heaven's Armies, I will honour you, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, my servant. I will make you like a signet ring on my finger, says the Lord, for I have chosen you. I, the Lord of Heaven's Armies, have spoken! "

Notes:

•Some of us have received new promises, others visions, and dreams which were dead have been brought to life. Some have received new names, new passions, new insights and discovered new mindsets.

Now all of this is in seed form. The Lord knows the names of the seeds He gave you, he knows its planting time, production of crops time and harvest time.

So if you're still searching, set time aside to be still no distractions, to be able to hear. Tools you need; a heart that is willing, a mind that is humble and surrendered to listen, plus your pen, journal and bible.

The cool thing is that, He says He would bless us even though we haven't seen the fullness of the promise. I'm sure some of us can already testify of swimming in the blessings already.

•The Lord fights for us, He knows the things we would face, the right spots and hard place. He knows the types of weapons that will be used, the type of enemies and also their plans.

He would cause them to fall and fail. When this happens He will honour us and make us into a symbol of authority in His hands.

Pay attention to the word "make" this is a process. So don't be hard on yourself when you feel others are ahead or when you make mistakes, surely His word will come to pass.

Father we thank You for Your love and Your word, let it heal, comfort, encourage, assure and strengthen us. We ask Your will to be done in our lives and order our steps each day. Let today be filled with surprises. Amen.
