Hi, fam welcome, it's another blessed day filled with God's unfailing love. It's Monday, the beginning of a new work week at where I am. As you enjoy this day, remember to have a spirit of gratitude.

Let's pray:

Father we love you, we thank you for your bread, open our hearts to receive and understand, speak to us and revive us, Amen.

Today we would be reading about the River of Healing, it can be found in Ezekiel 47, but as usual I would focus on a few verses, then you'll read the whole chapter 47 during your personal bible study.

Let's break bread.

Ezekiel 47:6-12(NLT)

6 He asked me, "Have you been watching, son of man?" Then he led me back along the riverbank.

7 When I returned, I was surprised by the sight of many trees growing on both sides of the river.

8 Then he said to me, "This river flows east through the desert into the valley of the Dead Sea. The waters of this stream will make the salty waters of the Dead Sea fresh and pure.

9 There will be swarms of living things wherever the water of this flows. Fish will abound in the Dead Sea, for its waters will become fresh. Life will flourish wherever this water flows.

10 Fishermen will stand along the shores of the Dead Sea. All the way from En-gedi to En-eglaim, the shores will be covered with nets drying in the sun. Fish of every king will fill the Dead Sea, just as they fill the Mediterranean.

11 But the marshes and swamps will not be purified; they will be salty.

12 Fruit trees of all kinds will grow along both sides of the river. The leaves of these trees will never turn brown and fall, and there will always be fruit on their branches. There will be a new crop every month, for they are watered by the river flowing from the Temple. The fruit will be for food and the leaves for healing."

What is the River of Healing?

•A Place of growth to many.

•A River which waters dry areas in our lifes, purifies the dead parts in our lifes and world. Plus makes fresh the salty water. You can see salvation.

The purification which points to the birth of new life in Christ and freshness points to the renewal of our minds from it salty nature.

•This River is a safe space allowing growth and creates a flourishing environment.

A body of living fish points to the body of Christ where we flourish and become fresh daily flowing in the flow and rhythm of Christ. A body on the move.

•Fishermen represents you and I and the nets are the tools and skills God has given us to bear fruit.

Fishermen dry their nets in the sun primarily to preserve them, to prevent rot, to keep net clean and efficient for catching. If you compare it to our lives, laying and placing our business or livelyhood or dreams or passions infront of God causes Him to preserve and multiply in our favour.

•A place where trees bear fruits of all kinds. The trees represent you and I. The trees leaves do not turn brown and fall. There will always be fruit and a new crop (New ideas & Innovation).

The trees (you and I) are watered from a divine place, His Temple, the source is from God. Your fruit will be food and your leaves for healing.

God will use you to feed His people and heal their hearts. (If you're wondering how, just look at what you have, if you can't see it, ask God to highlight it for you and then use it, He will teach you).

•Jesus is the River of Healing, He is filled with life and love to give.

Let's pray:

Dear Jesus, we open our hearts to receive you, fill us with your living water, let your River of Healing, revive and renew us, give us a fresh perspective and insight, we thank you, we love you and receive your love and life, Amen.

If you want to know Jesus say with me:

Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.

Be healed, be fresh, be fruitful, be free!

Enjoy your new life!
