Hi fam, it's time! It's time! I'm excited! This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Father, thank you for your word, we receive it, open our eyes of understanding, we receive your love so sweet and wise, in Jesus Name Amen.
Let's break bread.
Today our message is from Matthew 21:1-7(NLT), every verse has a beautiful word for you let's begin.
Matthew 21:1-7(NLT)
Verse 1 - As Jesus and the disciples approached Jerusalem, they came to the town of Bethphage on the Mount of Olives. Jesus sent two of them ahead.
Notes:
Bethphage means "house of unripe figs". The mount of olives signifies a high place, a place of learning and teaching, a place which has His presence, a place where the oil is formed, a place set apart, a training ground, a place of rest, a hidden place.
Verse 2- "Go into the village over there, "he said. " As soon as you enter it, you will see a donkey tied there, with it's colt beside it. Untie them and bring them to me.
Notes:
The village is a small community, a place of small beginnings, when the Lord said "as soon as you enter you will see" this means they are positioned right at the entrance.
Positioned ready to step into greatness. Interestingly it's tied with it's colt, this means the donkey and it's young one (baby).
He untied them, you are the donkey and your colt is the business ideas, the books, the projects, the creativity, the songs, the gift to teach or speak or coach, the inventions, the policies, the influence.
Verse 3- If anyone asks what you are doing, just say, "The Lord needs them.β
Notes:
The Lord needs you and all that you have, no matter how small it is, even if it's only yourself, you are valuable to Him, He needs you. He is calling you out of the house of unripe figs to ripe.
Verse 4- This took place to fulfil the prophecy that said,
Notes:
The word and promise God has spoken over your life will be fulfilled and it's already begun. You are ripe ready for picking.
Verse 5- " Tell the people of Jerusalem, 'Look, your King is coming to you. He is humble, riding on a donkey_ riding on a donkey's colt. '"
Notes:
Jerusalem is like our modern day big city or capital, it can represent the masses or the world filled with many people local and foreign, meaning you are being revealed to the world.
Pay attention to the donkey and the colt. Jesus says, He is going to ride both. Meaning, His Spirit, His Presence, Himself is going to abide and move through you and all you have, every single thing connected to you.
Verse 6- The two disciples did as Jesus commanded.
Notes:
People have been sent to fetch you, to partner with you, the right means, people, resources, connections, influence, so get ready.
Verse 7- They brought the donkey and the colt, and he sat on it.
Notes:
He sat on it! He marked it with His seal! He takes presidence over it! He sits on the throne! He is your banner! He is your leader! The Chairman!
So therefore You are His and He has your back! You will succeed and no weapon formed against you will prosper!
Remember to give a thanksgiving offering.
Prayer:
Father we thank you, praise unto your Holy Name! How beautiful you are! We receive your word, we believe it's already done, we say yes Lord! In Jesus Name Amen.
If you don't know Jesus, I invite you to know Him, say with me,
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
Go! It's time! π₯π―
