The Goodness of the Lord

The goodness of God is seen everyday, today, I wake up seeing God as my Father, who guides, teaches, covers, protects, provides, corrects, strengthens, wars for me, open doors for me, is my wise counsel.

God as my Mother, who nurtures me, feeds me, waters me, clothes me, let's me lay on Her lap, blankets me with love, heals my wounds, seals the cracks and oils my skin.

I pray a fresh pouring in your spirit and body, you will bloom and not wither. Steady and still God loves you and feels all the weight and pain. He is right beside you don't loose hope, get up and walk.

Job 13:21-22(NLT)

21 Remove your heavy hand from me and don't terrify me with your awesome presence.

23 Now summon me and I will answer! Or let me speak to you and you reply.

There are two types of fear, one is the fear that intimidates and makes you feel small, insignificant, condemned, unworthy or not approachable.

Second is the fear that's called reverence, to be in awe, to marvel at something, to respect something, to wonder at someone, to see the infinite capabilities of the person this is what is meant by the fear of the Lord.

Now in the book of Job, you see a man who goes through trials of loss. With everything taken away from him, leaving him with only his breath, that's his life. He questions the hand dealt on him. He seeks answers from God.

His accusers come to point fingers at him saying his predicament is as a result of the sins he committed whiles Job defends himself.

Finally God answers every question he asks, God comes to his home, his space, his place to argue back with Job. God wants to get personal and intimate with you, a relationship that allows you to be yourself.

God heals Job and restore all he lost twice as much as before. He also gives Job the opportunity to forgive those who accused him wrongly. Those who didn't know God but spoke the wrong thoughts of God and represented Him wrongly.

I have a testimony to share, I had secret needs that I didn't inform anyone but God, some audible, some just silent. Didn't see how possible it could be solved.

Then He quietly places the answers before me. He opened my eyes to see it.

Guess, where all my answers had been, it was hidden in the simple everyday things. Like little gems to pick along the road. I finally believed ”Psalm 37:23- The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives". Friend He is beside you.

I invite you to receive Him, say with me, Lord come into my heart, I feel it, thank you for making all my sins, weaknesses, short comings all of yours. I thank you for nailing it to the cross when you died for me. Now I'm raised up too in you free and victorious. In Jesus Name Amen.

Let's pray, Lord, we thank you for this day and the many tiny drops of surprises that when we remember feels like a mighty ocean, for those who have not seen open their eyes to see. Let, who You are flood their lives and let healing drops and pitter of rain become like a roar in their mind, spirit and body, in Jesus Name Amen.
