Hi fam! Welcome! It's great to have you here. This place is a place of rest, you'll find His word and instructions that lead to wholeness, purpose, renewed passion and direction. I want to extend an invitation to you to make this place your home.
Let's pray: Father we thank you for your word, teach us, open our hearts to understand and lead us in your ways, we thank you for your love, Amen.
Leviticus 14:1-4(NLT)
1 And the Lord said to Moses,
2 "The following instructions are for those seeking ceremonial purification from a skin disease. Those who have been healed must be brought to the priest,
3 who will examine them at a place outside the camp. If the priest finds that someone has been healed of a serious skin disease,
4 he will perform a purification ceremony, using two live birds that are ceremonially clean, a stick of cedar, some scarlet yarn, and a hyssop branch.
What is the ceremony of purification?
During the old testament it was a method of cleansing to change a state of something pronounced unclean to clean. It was a method of confirmation for those who have been healed and a renewal process.
Now I want to speak from the perspective of being healed. When you receive Jesus Christ you are forgiven of your sins and born anew. Your mind or thought process is renewed daily. Here the Holy Spirit teaches us the right way and corrects wrong ways of thinking.
When we say the salvation prayer to receive Jesus it is once and for all. However when we find ourselves in sin we come to Jesus and ask Him to cleanse our hearts and renew a right spirit in us.
This is not salvation prayer, but a prayer that seeks forgiveness and a willingness to be taught the right path. We are not perfect beings, we make mistakes daily.
When we are healed from heartbreak, anxiety, disappointment, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, the feeling of loneliness, rejection, fear, withdrawal from His presence or when we have been freed from a dark place.
He requires of us to go through a renewal process. This is sometimes done by going on a fast with just you and the Lord, a period set apart for you to reconnect or realign yourself with Him.
It also a time were strongholds are broken, wrong cycles of thinking are destroyed and a sweeping of the heart from the debris left by the storm or intruding spirit. Example the spirit of fear, the spirit of suicide, the spirit of anger, the spirit of sorrow.
What happens:
You are transformed into a new version of yourself.
You have an upgraded thought pattern.
You find purpose and truth.
You get to know the will of God for your life.
You identify the causes of the mistake or brokenness and receive strategy on overcoming.
You are restored and made whole.
You receive rest and comfort.
You are submerged in His love and His presence.
You are blessed, affirmed, assured and fully convinced of the transformation that has taken place.
I have began a three day fast, beginning today you can join me, it's from morning to late afternoon, depending on what's comfortable for you especially if you have health issues.
This fast should be a sacrifice of something you love to do, it can be putting away social media for a while, or putting more effort into studying your word and spending time with God instead of visiting your boyfriend or girlfriend, or watching movies or going for events.
It's an intentional decision to be still and to allow God to make you whole.
Let's pray:
Father we love you, we receive your word, make us whole in you, renew our minds and heal our hearts, let us see you more clearly than before, stir up the gift inside of us and let our lips continuously flow with praise to your Holy Name, Amen.
Do you want to know Jesus, say with me?
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen!
Be transformed! Enjoy your time with the Lord!
