Hi family,
It's an honour to see you consistently showing up. Today's bread is a blessing that comes to elevate you.
Let's give thanks:
Father thank you for your faithful love and let your joy blossom in our bellies and let sounds of laughter be heard.
We receive youI believe and that sounds of laughter behead we receive your blessing this morning, we love you, Amen.
Let's break bread:
Today we are in the book of Job, a man trusted by God to overcome the trials sent his way.
Job speaks openly during his time of pain and anguish, he spoke His truth yet still honoured God with his words.
Today I want us to receive a treasure from his words.
**NLT**
Job 28:20-23
20 “But do people know where to find wisdom? Where can they find understanding?
21 It is hidden from the eyes of all humanity. Even the sharp-eyed birds in the sky cannot discover it.
22 Destruction and Death say, ‘We’ve heard only rumors of where wisdom can be found.’
23 “God alone understands the way to wisdom; he knows where it can be found,
Job 28:28
28 And this is what he says to all humanity: ‘The fear of the Lord is true wisdom; to forsake evil is real understanding.’”
To fear God is to have reverence for God, to honour Him, to get to know Him, to sit at His feet and listen to Him, to talk to Him both morning and evening and seeking to know Him and receive His guidance.
It's a willingness to be open and truthful to God. To trust Him and receive his love.
To forsake evil is to look at things from a perspective of love, not fear, not doubt, not bitterness, not anger, not pride, not jealousy.
But to listen and examine the truth. Wisdom isn't acquired by works. Some may say it's by experience but it's not every experience that can be applied to every situation.
No material your level of experience you still need wisdom to proceed to the next level. For what is ahead, eyes haven't seen and ears have not head.
Proverbs 2:1-8
1 My child, listen to what I say, and treasure my commands.
2 Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding.
3 Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding.
4 Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures.
5 Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God.
6 For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
7 He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity.
8 He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him.
Father thank you for your wisdom and understanding. We receive your love, Amen.
If you want to have a relationship with Jesus, say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
God loves you and hears your cry.
