The Birth of a Unique Sound

1 Corinthians 14:6-10(NLT)

6 Dear brothers and sisters, if I should come to you speaking in an unknown language, how would that help you? But if I bring you a revelation or some special knowledge or prophecy or teaching, that will be helpful.

7 Even lifeless instruments like the flute or the harp must play the notes clearly, or no one will recognise the melody.

8 And if the bugler doesn't sound a clear call, how will the soldiers know they are being called to battle?

9 It's the same for you. If you speak to people in words they don't understand, how will they know what you are saying? You might as well be talking into empty space.

10 There are many different languages in the world and every language has meaning.

A gift of a unique sound is my message today, everyone is being gifted with a unique sound. Just like how when the Holy Spirit appeared to the early church (disciples) in the upper room and tongues of fire appeared on each of them. Allowing them to speak in different languages.

Then what happened next was a mighty roar, a shaking which forced many people to come and see. At that period many foreigners as well as natives in the land where present.

Each heard their own language.

Your voice and unique gifting has its audience, it has its people, it has its sheep. Your brother or sister has their own unique call or gifting or sound that would attract a different group of people into the Body of Christ.

The sounds or voices maybe different.

Example, the flute, the harp, the drums, the tambourine, the cymbals, the violin, the trumpet, the piano, the harmonica are all single instruments but when played together forms a mighty heavenly orchestra music.

Just like your body, it is the same as how the body of Christ is, we are all different but form part of His body, some are the eyes, toes, mouth, hands, legs, ears, digestive system and other parts.

However we can't do without a body part, you won't function properly. This calls for unity in the body to be able to reach your destination.

This gift that is about descend on you requires you to be attentive, develop it with the Holy Spirit and avoid comparison.

God has a unique assignment for each of you. Be open to receive.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I thank you for your revelation, I pray for insight and wisdom, for us to find the unique sound, you've given. We receive instructions on how to use these gifts for your glory. Thank you Father, we love you, Amen.

I invite you to receive Jesus, if you don't have a personal relationship with him, say with me, Dear Jesus, I repent of my sins, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour. I want to know you personally and understand your ways. I thank you for welcoming me into your family and I receive answers for every question I have. Amen.
