Hi fam, rise and shine, a new day and a new you. A beautiful transformation has taken place for some, others are still going through the crushing but not matter the season you are in give thanks to the Lord for He is good.
Father we thank you for your bread, open our eyes and hearts to hear and understand, breathe a fresh spirit within us, we love you, Amen.
Today I would be talking about offerings and worship.
Let's break bread.
Ezekiel 45:18(NLT)
18 "This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In early spring, on the first day of each new year, sacrifice a young bull with no defects to purify the temple.
Notes:
When God does something new in your life, or a breakthrough or you receive your freedom from doubt or anxiety or healing or a renewed way of thinking or new ideas or a completion of a project, we give an offering of thanks, we give a praise offering and we dedicate the new beginning or completion to God.
This means we are saying thank you, we are inviting His presence or His Spirit into what it is, for His will to be done, for His covering, blessing and direction. You can also do this each new year.
Ezekiel 46:1(NLT)
1 "This is what the Sovereign Lord says: The east gateway of the inner courtyard will be closed during the six work days each week, but it will be open on Sabbath days and the days of new moon celebrations.
Note:
Worship on the Sabbath day is very important. The east gate is the entering point or passage way or location which the Lord's glory descends through and at. The communion of the saints as one body is where He meets us.
Yes! In and as the Church, the Church isn't justa building but the body, the gathering of you and I to worship and praise the Lord and in times like these you see a glorious manifestation of His presence. He says in the scripture:
Matthew 18:20(NLT)
20 For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them."
Ezekiel 46:4-5(NLT)
4 "Each Sabbath day the prince will present to the Lord a burnt offering of six lambslambs and one ram, all with no defects.
5 He will present a grain offering of a basket of choice flour to go with the ram, and whatever amount of flour he chooses to go with each lamb and he is to offer four litres of olive oil for each basket of flour.
Note:
Now we do not offer lambs, but when we join together in worship, we come to lay down all ourselves as an offering, we lay down our lifes, our will, our pride, our achievements, our weaknesses, our strengths, our crowns, we lay it all down at His feet.
And give Him glory, the worship, the honour. A posture of humility and knowing that He gave it all to us and we present it before Him, putting the Sovereign Lord above it all. Letting Him be our pride and our glory.
We also give a choice offering from our increase every Sabbath day (Sunday), it's different from the tithe (the first portion of our increase, a 10% of your income).
This offering is a choice gift of worship we give, the amount or currency is up to the giver.
We also come with our oil, we come with our testimonies, our worship and praise, our fire and we set the place ablaze.
With the aroma of our worship and the union of each light or flame which is you and I, we become one big move, powerful and strong in Christ, pushing back the darkness and walking in the victory He has won for us.
Let's pray:
Father, we thank you for your word, we receive it, we thank you for receiving our worship, praise, offerings and ourselves. We bless you and love you, Amen.
Do you know Jesus? Do you want to be part of the family? Yes say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen!
Stay blessed, God loves you, ππ
