SPEAK

The journey and process to becoming all that God wants you to be requires an intimacy with Him and an open eye to see your every day gift.
Each second, minute or hour counts. A continuous spin on His wheel, taking different shapes and forms each day and season. I want us to reflect on, who we have been, who we are now and your testimony.
Each day you are blessed with has a story. Which ones are you telling others, is it only the victories or it includes the loses, the tests, the trials.
Our testimony doesn't have to be perfect, let it be the truth. There is something about sharing to or with others, the battles and the confusion which sometimes you find yourself walking in.
It's an opportunity to let them know that God is still God and He is with you in those times even when you don't feel it.
What does it mean to be honest with God about your feelings and thoughts? To speak and be spoken to.
Father, I've spoken a lot, but let these words be a dance of love in the minds and life of your people, fill us with your overwhelming love and speak back to us in such clarity, the enemy won't have a chance to misinterpret with lies, your sheep know your voice and a stranger they would not follow, Amen.
Welcome Fam!
Today we're taken another turn, we are changing our diet and routine, plus I want you to get comfortable because we are still at the Master's Table.
Luke 2:36-40(NLT)
36 Anna, a prophet was also there in the Temple. She was the daughter of Phanuel from the tribe of Asher and she was very old. Her husband died when they had been married only seven years.
37 Then she lived as a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the Temple but stayed there day and night, worshipping God with fasting and prayer.
38 She came along just as Simeon was talking with Mary and Joseph, and she began praising God. She talked about the child to everyone who had been waiting expectantly for God to rescue Jerusalem.
39 When Jesus' parents had fulfilled all the requirements of the law of the Lord, they returned home to Nazareth in Galilee.
40 There the child grew up healthy and strong. He was filled with wisdom, and God's favour was on him.
This was baby Jesus Dedication ceremony, and two people with an expectancy to meet the Messiah are led to meet Him by the Holy Spirit, Simeon and Anna.
I want to focus on Anna, she was someone who spoke to and encouraged others who had the same hope and expectancy as hers. She spoke to people who waited for God to rescue them, she spoke praises unto the Lord, she spoke prophecies, she worshiped and served.
What gets me excited is she talks to everyone about a Messiah who was still in the baby stages and still used that to testify.
We all have big dreams and expectations but as the journey unfolds we have little steps, little victories. Do not wait for the big things or the baby to be fully grown before you testify.
Speak about it, honour each step and your present moments, little drops of water makes a mighty ocean.
In verse 40, it says the child grew up healthy and strong, filled with wisdom and God's favour was on him. If you read a few verses below the bible shows us his growth in understanding of knowledge, in wisdom and in stature and in favour with God and people.
A steady growth on a solid foundation. What's your relationship with God like, can you tell Him when you are tired, disappointed, sad, unhappy, angry, happy or excited?
Testimony:
This time I had to be honest with God about my pain and disappointment when I was expecting Him to show up. I had to cry my heart out, I felt better a bit, but later I was feeling fear and guilt, i thought I shouldn't have told Him the truth, He is God His ways are right, who am I to question or say Lord I forgive you.
But in that moment I was listening to a message about wrestling doubt by Ps. Sarah Jakes Roberts, it was then I begun to assess, and I realised and remembered.
I have history with God, I know His voice and this isn't how He speaks, he never puts fear, guilt or uncertainty on His children.
I needed to check that voice and get it out of my head. God isn't afraid of your questions and honesty, He seeks to answer them, I may not get the full picture immediately but each day, He adds more answers.
This is the truth and I pray you receive answers to your questions daily.
Let's pray:
Father, we come to you, with who we are, heal us, help us to understand, give us boldness to speak and testify. Help us to see your truth, we receive all of you, let your peace fall, we love you, Amen.
If you want to reconnect with Jesus, maybe you want to take a chance to see if this love is real, then say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life! Amen.
No matter the situation, speak out!
