It's hot and freshly baked. Such a sweet fragrance and we can both agree the Lord led you here. Your spiritual nose can smell His bread from afar.
Welcome fam, from whichever part of the world you are reading from.
Let's pray: Father thank you, praise be unto your Holy Name, breathe on this word, fill us to the overflow, let your understanding flow, we love you, Amen.
Let's break bread.
Haggai 1:12-15(NLT)
12 Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the whole remnant of God's people began to obey the message from the Lord their God. When they heard the words of the prophet Haggai, whom the Lord their God had sent, the people feared the Lord.
13 Then Haggai, the Lord's messenger, gave the people this message from the Lord: "I am with you, says the Lord!"
14 So the Lord sparked the enthusiasm of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the enthusiasm of Jeshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the enthusiasm of the whole remnant of God's people. They began to work on the house of their God, the Lord of Heaven's Armies,
15 on 21 September of the second year of King Darius's reign.
Note:
A willing heart to obey. Sometimes we receive a word or instruction or we feel we are to move in a certain direction. It can also be to forgive someone, or let go of the past.
It can be to write that book or study that course. When we take the first step in obedience the Lord gives a beautiful assurance, He says "I am with you". He is letting you know He is for you and He is on your side and He has you covered.
Not only that He sparks your enthusiasm to walk in obedience, He ignites your desire to climb the mountain, to let go of the pain.
In the book of Haggai, He doesn't only influence and sparks the heart of the leaders but also the people.
If you are a leader or a person who influences others, it doesn't matter the number of people, God will also spark their enthusiasm to follow your lead.
To fear the Lord is to have love, respect, honour, reverence, loyalty and to be in awe or to be in wonder of God. To see His Majesty, Beauty and Might.
It's to fall in love with Him more and more as you get to know Him.
Let's pray:
Father we love you, we come to you in thankfulness, we receive your spark of enthusiasm to walk in obedience to your word. Let new works be birthed and creativity blossom, Amen.
Do you want to have a relationship with Jesus? Say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen!
Ignite! Be on fire! He has sparked your enthusiasm! π₯π₯π
