Family welcome, today let's break bread, we are walking this day with power.
Father thank you for this word, we speak comfort to those in sorrow and strength to the hands on the last grip. Amen.
•The Request:
Hezekiah 37:3-4 (NLT)
3 They told him, "This is what king Hezekiah says: Today is a day of trouble, insults, and disgrace. It's is like when a child is ready to be born, but the mother has no strength left to deliver the baby.
4 But perhaps the Lord your God has heard the Assyrian chief of staff, sent by the king to defy the living God, and will punish him for his words. Oh pray for those of us who are left.
Notes:
King Hezekiah faces war and threats from the Assyrian king who has conquered many nations and now has conquered the fortified towns of Judah and threatens to completely take over.
His servants questions the people's trust in the Lord God and speaks in the language of the people with intent to bring down their hopes and believes.
Take note of the voices that are familiar but speak contrary to His promise. (Impersonation!)
In despair the king enters the temple and sends a message to the prophet. To pray for them.
•The Reply:
Whenever you seek the Lord, He hears, in the silence He hears, don't let anything tell you He isn't near, keep repeating the promise, don't give up.
He is here and He is on your side, stand still don't be confused, keep doing what He asked you to do, don't be swayed, in all things remember, He is your Father who loves you.
Hezekiah 37:6-7(NLT)
6 the prophet replied, "Say to your master, 'This is what the Lord says: Do not be disturbed by this blasphemous speech against me from the Assyrian King's messengers.
7 Listen! I myself will move against him, and the king will receive a message that he is needed at home. So he will return to his land, where I will have him killed with a sword."
•The Proof:
Sometimes, when I face terrible times, my last hope is to notice, I'm alive, I am still breathing, He gave me a new day, so I will fight with every strength He gives me, don't be buried, come out any way, in tears keep fighting.
Hezekiah 37:30-32(NLT)
30 Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Here is the proof that what I say is true: " This year you will eat only what grows up by itself and next year you will eat what springs up from that. But in the third year you will plant crops and harvest them; you will tend vineyards and eat their fruit.
31 And you who are left in Judah, who have escaped the ravages of the seige, will put roots down in your own soil and grow up and flourish.
32 For a remnant of my people will spread out from Jerusalem, a group of survivors from Mount Zion. The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven's Armies will make this happen!
Prayer:
Thank you Lord for today, we thank you for clarity, we believe you, we trust you, in your Name we come against every lie from the pit of hell, we pull down strongholds and tear down thrones of controlling, lieing spirits. We receive You Lord and the healing, restoration and peace you bring. In Jesus Name Amen.
I invite you to make Jesus the Lord of your life, Dear Jesus, Come into my life, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe in you, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
Go forth, keep on persisting, and tell every lie it ends here! Praise the Lord Our Father for He is God!
