Restoration and Fresh Measurements

‎Peace be unto you.

‎I pray for strength, ease and all the fruits of the Spirit. God loves you and touches you to bless you.

‎Mark 10:16(NLT)

‎16 Then he took the children in his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them.

‎It's another morning rising and shine! I went through a tough day some days prior to this. I should say two days ago.

‎It was a lot for me, I couldn't make sense of anything from how it happened to why it happened. My emotions kept changing as I spoke to God about the problem.

‎From I am strong, to I don't care anymore, to when will all this end, to I don't see the way out, to I believe and I'm trusting, to what is the delay, to every mountain be removed, to tears like a child being abandoned, to hidden fear of being honest about what I actually wanted, to questioning why people act the way they do.

‎I can't write everything but I know I changed. I see more honesty about my needs and bluntness. Right now I'm taking fresh measurements of myself. I realise I haven't said thanks yet, lol!

‎Let's give thanks:

‎Father thank you for today's bread, heal our hearts and strengthen us in our walk with you. We need you, we are grateful for all you do already, we love you and receive your love, Amen.

‎Ezekiel 39:25(NLT)

‎25 "So now, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will end the captivity of my people; I will have mercy on all Israel, for I jealously guard my holy reputation!

‎Ezekiel 39:27(NLT)

‎27 When I bring them home from the lands of their enemies, I will display my holiness among them for all the nations to see.

‎This is God's promise of restoration and He has put His Name on it for you and I. He will surely do what He has promised.

‎In chapter 40 the prophet Ezekiel is led to a man.

‎Ezekiel 40:3-4b (NLT)

‎3 As he brought me nearer, I saw a man who face shown like bronze standing beside a gateway entrance. He was holding in his hand a linen measuring cord and a measuring rod.

‎4 He said to me, "Son of man, watch and listen. Pay close attention to everything I show you...

‎As I read this scripture a verse stood out to me.

‎Ezekiel 40:5(NLT)

‎5 I could see a wall completely surrounding the Temple area. The man took a measuring rod that was 3.2 metres long and measured the wall, and the wall was 3.2 metres thick and 3.2 metres high.

‎For me I can see the word "boundaries”. When I look now, my tolerance, my allowances for peoples terrible behavior and treatment of me needed to stop.

‎I can't allow my body to keep bearing the cost and pain of something I didn't do. So for me it's time for some boundaries and physical relocation. I have some big moves and changes coming up. Surely it will be done.

‎What are the things you need to change? What fresh measurements are you taking?

‎Father we receive your word, let it land softly and bear good fruit, Amen.
