Rest! 😴 and Keep the Sabbath.

Hi Fam, this is a love message of rest, it's a day the Lord has made, we would rejoice and be glad.

Father thank you for your love and wisdom Amen.

Ezekiel 20:10-12(NLT)

10 So I brought them out of Egypt and led them into the wilderness.

11 There I gave them my decrees and regulations so they could find life by keeping them

12 And I gave my days of rest as a sign between them and me. It was to remind them that I am the Lord, who had set them apart to be holy.

Today, our message is about rest, it's an important part of the covenant we have with God.

He calls us to keep the Sabbath. In the beginning, found in the book of Genesis, God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh day.

For us it can be Monday to Friday our week days of work and Saturday to Sunday our week ends of rest.

It's important to rest and it's not a casual statement. Your Heavenly Father rested.

When God gifts you with the job, business, project, contract, school, marriage, children, we become obsessed with making things right and perfect we do not rest.

Our schedules are packed with the next thing and another next thing. Re-plan and put some days as periods of rest in your schedule.

Relax take a leave and breathe. Allow God to refresh and replenish you, don't be stubborn, it won't fall apart if you are not there, let someone hold the fort.

A rested mind and body can perform better, get better results and see clearly.

Prayer:

Father, thank you for your word, help us to rest in you, help us to see areas in our lives we need rest in, teach us it's okay to rest. Thank you for helping us walk it out. Love you Lord, Amen.
