Positioned for Greatness

Arise and Shine family!

This is the day the Lord has made filled with opportunities and turning points. I want us to give God a thanksgiving shout offering!

Say with me: Glory! Glory! Glory! Is the Lord, Amen.

‎Let's pray:

‎Father we thank you for the bread you give us each day, we say thank you, we honour you and we love you. Fill us with your strength, power, wisdom and boldness.

Revive us in you, take away the fatigue and let our mouths be filled with I can do seeds, we invite you into our day, lead us, in Jesus Name, Amen.

‎Take a seat let's eat:

‎Now David learns of the death of Saul and Jonathan, he and his men tore their clothes in sorrow and mourned, wept and fasted all day.

‎For those who don't know who Saul is he was the King before David, His son Jonathan and Daniel loved each other like brothers, however along the way King Saul turned against David and haunted him to kill him, more details can be found in the book of 1 Samuel.

‎David was always on the run for his life but this time something unexpected occurs which causes Him to grieve, I would call it the pain that comes during the transition and birthing process.

‎But he does something important, irrespective of how he was feeling.

‎2 Samuel 2:1-4a (NLT)

‎1 After this, David asked the Lord, "Should I move back to one of the towns of Judah?" "Yes" the Lord replied. Then David asked, "which town should I go to?" "To Hebron", the Lord answered.

‎2 David's two wives were Ahinoam from Jezreel and Abigail, the widow of Nabal from Carmel. So David and his wives

‎3 and his men and their families all moved to Judah, and they settled in the villages near Hebron.

‎4(a) Then the men of Judah came to David and anointed him king over the people of Judah.

‎Notes:

‎•He asked the Lord (sought directions).

‎•He asked again for specific details (clarity).

‎•He prepared all he had for the move and moved.

‎•They settled in their positions (not doubting but at ease).

‎•Arrival of Men, the Oil and the Crown (Greatness).

‎In order to be positioned right for Greatness, seek the Lord and ask for direction and clarity. Obey and act according to what he tells you, of you are not sure ask for further confirmation, then move to do it, be at ease, settle and focus.

The camels are on their way, you need to be seated to receive, eliminate all doubts that cause you to be unsettled, because when you begin to doubt you may reject the blessing. Be open to receive. It's here!

‎Father we receive, we believe and we honour you for the new things you are doing and what you've already done, help us to perceive the gift coming our way, let all distractions fade away, and let us hear you clearly, we love you, Amen.

‎D you want to know Jesus, our Master who leads us in all wisdom and Truth through the Holy Spirit, if Yes, say with me:

‎Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen!

‎Get ready! Get ready! Don't doubt! It's today! It's here!
