One with God

Do not worry and draw near to the Lord, He watches over His sheep and no one can snatch them away from Him. You are Sons and Daughters of God. Be assured in the evidence of who He is to you and the name He calls you.

Let's break bread:

John 10:30-38(NLT)

30 The Father and I are one."

31 Once again the people picked up stones to kill him.

32 Jesus said, "At my Father's direction I have done many good works. For which one are you going to stone me? "

33 They replied, "We are stoning you not for any good work, but for blasphemy! You, a mere man, claim to be God.

34 Jesus replied, " It is written in your own Scriptures that God said to certain leaders of the people, 'I say, you are gods!'

35 And you know that the scriptures cannot be altered. So if those people who received God's message were called god's,

36 why do you call it blasphemy when I say, 'I am the Son of God'? After all, the Father set me apart and sent me into the world.

37 Don't believe me unless I carry out my Father's work.

38 But if I do his work, believe in the evidence of the miraculous works I have done, even if you don't believe me. Then you will. Know and understand that the Father is in me, and I am in the Father."

Notes:

• Jesus is One with God, in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God and through Him all things were made that was made.

John 1:1-5 let's you know from the beginning that Christ is God and Yes He is also the Son of God.

•When we receive Jesus into our lives, a covenant is formed, He comes to dwell within us and becomes One with us.

Just like a marriage vow, the two become one in marriage. The church that is you and I, is the Bride of Christ, set apart unto Him.

•Through Christ we become adopted into the family of God, we become his legitimate children, He makes us and calls us Sons and Daughters of God.

He gives you authority to have dominion, to cast out demons, trample on snakes and scorpions and the ability to create new things, to be fruitful and multiply.

• In Jeremiah chapter 1, God says, before I formed you in your mothers womb, I knew you, this reminds us that, He is our creator and He is our Father who birthed us into existence, so salvation in Christ, is a reconciliation back to the Father, to be who He ordained us to be in the first place.

• When Jesus is in you, you are also in Jesus, that's why we are the body of Christ, to partake in the communion of the bread and wine is to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus and to remember we are one in Him.

To be One with Jesus is to be One with God. For Jesus is in the Father and the Father is in Him.

• The Father also resides in us through Christ, we are His Temple and He is our God and Heavenly Father.

However, it's beyond being a temple, it's a union, a covenant, to be made whole and One in Him.

Let's pray:

Heavenly Father, your children come before you today, we say thank you, we ask that you open our eyes of understanding and break mental barriers limiting our perspective, you are God and beyond the theories of man, be God in our lives, Amen.

If you want to know Jesus and be One with God say with me:

Dear Jesus, come into my heart, i make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God. I receive your love and new life, Amen.

You are one with God, don't let shame, guilt and your mistakes say otherwise. The Holy Spirit lives in you, He would never leave you but guide you into God's truth of Love and Compassion.
