Scripture:

Lamentations 2:20(NLT)

20 "O Lord, think about this! Should you treat your own people this way? Should mothers eat their own children, those they once bounced on their knees? Should priests and prophets be killed within the Lord's Temple?

Lamentations 3:22-24(NLT)

22 The faithful love of the Lord never ends! "His mercies never cease.

23 Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.

24 I say to myself, " The Lord is my inheritance, therefore I would hope in him!

Hi fam, it's another day the Lord has made, we are going to rejoice in Him.

Father open our hearts to receive and fill us with your strength and power to withstand the storms, thank you for the bread, Amen.

Let's break bread.

Now what does it mean to lament, it is a passionate expression of grief or sorrow. To express regret or disappointment about something.

It can also be a poem, song or piece of writing that expresses sadness about someone's death.

When life hits us in all directions it can birth a lamenting soul. It triggers questions and tests our beliefs and faith.

To survive it isn't by our strength but the Lord gives victory. Storms aren't just to be survived, you become stronger, you know what you are made of and there are keys to grab in the midst of this.

Lord I pray anyone going through a storm won't drown, but would be victorious, I speak your resilience and hope.

This too shall pass, what God has for you won't be stopped.

A seed is planted, it rots and dies, and springs up a new seedling.

Hope, is a feeling of trust, an expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen, to cherish a desire with anticipation, and to have reasonable confidence.

Hope in the Lord, for He would give you a new morning, He is your inheritance, His faithful love is real, don't let the enemy question you about this process.

Hope in the Lord, let the tears be collected by Him to water the dead seed, let His light birth you into glory greater than before.

Get ready, it's a new beginning.

Prayer:

Father we love you and we trust you, take the reigns, give us strength, wisdom and peace. Thank you for fighting for us and being in the fire with us and letting us come out unscathed, in Jesus Name Amen.

I invite you to make Jesus your Lord and Saviour,

Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to you, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
