Good morning lovely people, it's an honour to have you here. The goodness of the Lord was shown greatly during the end of the last month, which was yesterday.
Now we are in a new month. The first day actually and it's filled with His awesome Love and goodness.
Let's use some few seconds to thank God for how far He has brought you and I.
Let's pray, Father we bless you, we glorify your name in all the earth, we thank you for the bread, speak to our hearts and renew our minds in Jesus Name Amen.
Today our message is from Matthew chapter 4 and we would focus on verse 18,19,20 and 23.
Let's break bread.
Matthew 4:18(NLT)
18 One day as Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers - Simon, also called Peter, and Andrew - throwing a net into the water, for they fished for a living.
Note:
On a particular day in the normal routine of the lives of Simon and Andrew. Jesus walks in their zone, you can say He comes into their space, or He makes an entrance into their life's.
He not only does that He sees them. What does it mean to be seen? It means to be understood, it means the person gets you, it means the person speaks your language and you don't have to worry explaining yourself.
That's the kind of God we serve He knows how to speak to you, He understands your rhythm, your vibe, your intellect and He is speaking to you even right now.
I want us to note they fished for a living, they were already in their element. What do I mean? It's like you and I have unique ways of speaking, analysing, studying, creating, doing business, cooking and walking.
And Jesus calls them just the way they were.
Matthew 4:19-20(NLT)
19 Jesus called out to them, "Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people! "
20 And they left their nets at once and followed him.
Jesus reaches out first, He scouted them first, like a talent manager, He saw them and said to come which is the first step. Then,to follow Him, to be shown or taught by Him on how to use what they have for a greater purpose, building the kingdom!
They left their nets, which means He changes the application or execution methods and they followed His ways.
Let me use myself as an example, my love for taking pictures, designing, research and study, He takes it and uses it for transformation and healing work.
For you it can be the business or the work place, He shows you how to make decisions that make your community better, that change lives or fix world problems.
The building of the kingdom is done in every space and industry and not limited to just the church. You would find the hand of God in the science labs, giving insight to the medical practitioners and wisdom to world leaders or politicians.
It not just about the big things, it's the smile you put on another's face.
Matthew 4:23(NLT)
23 Jesus travelled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.
Note:
He moved in every space, teaching and announcing the Good News, planting encouragement, joy, peace, love, patience, helping others, putting a smile on people's faces.
Creating laughter, letting harmony flow and healing not just in the bodies but the hearts of the people. Your job is to influence your outside, let your face smile so when the person who is feeling sad sees you, they too can smile.
Let's pray:
Father, we love you, teach us to spread your love and receive your love, Amen.
Do you want to have a relationship with Jesus? Yes, say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God. I receive your love and new life Amen.
Let someone smile today! God loves you!πβΊπ
