Jesus is not theory

‎Good morning family,

‎It's rise and shine from where I am writing to you from. I'm being blessed with wonderful teachings from the Holy Spirit which I will be sharing with you today as He leads.

‎Get your notebooks and pens, as we dive deeper.

‎Let's pray:

‎Father we honour you, we thank you for your word, let it bear fruit, open our eyes of understanding, let us be gifted with a more intimate revelation of who You are, Amen.

‎Let's break bread:

‎What is theory?

‎It is a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing explained.

‎It is a set of principles on which the practice of an activity is based, it's like a formula or a scientifically acceptable or plausible general principle to explain phenomena.

‎Its also a formal statement of rules or laws on which a subject is based.

‎What am I driving at?

‎Jesus is not theory. He is a revelation of God. We receive Him through faith and faith comes by hearing the word of God. If you want to walk in the revelation of who He is you have to let go of some limiting perspectives.

‎He is God and can't be measured with the ways of man, in the bible some people couldn't see because they new of the earthly channel he came through to this earth but couldn't allow themselves to believe in His divine nature.

‎This still exists today, the debate of why and how God is three in one, God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Don't try to box God into one perspective or angle. We humans are made in His image, we have a Spirit, a Soul and a Body.

‎God the Father is the Spirit, God the Son is the Body (Jesus Christ the Son of God, the revelation of God, the manifestation of God on the earth, the tangible, touchable, relatable form of God that man can look up to, to understand how to be in relationship with God and man, who has walked the earth and understands our needs, who is our righteousness that through him all would come to the father).

‎Then God the Holy Spirit, who is the Mind of God, the Consciousness of God, the Voice of God that speaks and guides you in your daily work, the Sound of God who carries the words of God, who interprets to us and gives revelation of who God is.

‎The Spirit, the Soul which is the mind and the Body just like us.

‎That why Jesus is the Bread of life, when you partake of His body you receive eternal life. The first sin begun by partaking of the fruit from the tree of good and evil which corrupted our bodies the flesh.

‎That's why we have war daily in our flesh and it desires for the pleasures of life.

‎To partake of the body makes you become one in Christ and gives you victory over the flesh. His body broken for you and blood shed for you, a living sacrifice, Jesus the lamb of God. Jesus explains this further in John 6:22-59(read for more understanding).

‎John 6:60-65(NLT)

‎60 Many of his disciples said, "This is very hard to understand. How can anyone accept it?"

‎61 Jesus aware that his disciples were complaining, so he said to them, "Does this offend you?

‎62 Then what will you think if you see the Son of Man ascend to heaven again?

‎63 The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing and the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

‎(Note: Salvation is not by doing good or being law abiding or having religious practices.)

‎64 But some of you do not believe me". (For Jesus knew from the beginning which ones didn't believe and he knew who would betray him).

‎65 Then he said, "That is why I said that people can't come to me unless the Father gives them to me.'

‎John 6:40(NLT)

‎40 For it is my Father's will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life. I will raise them up at the last day."

‎John 6:45(NLT)

‎45 As it is written in the Scriptures, They will all be taught by God. 'Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me.

‎(Note: Here He speaks about God the Holy Spirit who is the mind of God, who gives revelation of who Jesus is, the Father affirms and points us in the direction of and reveals to us His Son.)

‎Ephesians 10:14-16(NLT)

‎14 But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?

‎(Notes: That someone is you and I.)

‎15 And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the scriptures say, "How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!"

‎16 But not everyone welcomes the Good News, for Isaiah the prophet said, "Lord who has believed our message?"

‎17 So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.

‎(Note: Your testimony is the Good News, your walk with God is the Good News, the God given ideas and solutions is the Good News, so don't be afraid to share it.)

John 7:16-18(NLT)

16 So Jesus told them, "My message is not my own; it comes from God who sent me.

17 Anyone who wants to do the will of God will know whether my teaching is from God or is merely my own.

18 Those who speak for themselves want glory only for themselves, but a person who seeks to honour the one who sent him speaks truth, no lies.

(Note: Have this in mind when you share the good news.)

Let's pray:

Father we thank you for your word, Holy Spirit week thank you for your revelation, let it be a light to our path, a feast and nourishment for kings, a foundation in our spine unmovable and unshakable and let it bear fruit and produce seed of its kind that the word moves from generation to generation and people to people.

If you want to know more about God, the Lord we serve, say with me:

‎Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen!

‎A Message to Us All!
