Is it true, I can ask God for anything in Jesus Name and He will do it ? What is the secret code to this prayer?

‎Dear brothers and sisters, Welcome! If you are new, a special hello from me to you, God loves you and is proud of you. Getting to the end of our discussion, I will give you a special invitation to become part of the family.

‎Let give thanks:

‎Father we thank you for your word, the bread, the full table cuisine you have laid out for us your children. Let it nourish and fill us with a knowing of your love, we receive your love, Amen.

‎Our scripture is taken from John chapter 14, let's break bread:

‎John 14:13-14(NLT)

‎13 You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the son can bring glory to the Father.

‎14 Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!

‎First of all this scripture is true. Yet I know some of us question how true. Many have prayed and asked God for things and their expectations haven't been met.

‎Your Heavenly Father knows your needs and His thoughts towards you are good. For some of us we have never thought of asking God directly for help. We complain in prayer about the situation but forget to say "Lord, I need your help."

‎Now what is the secret code to this prayer?

‎•First your request is already answered in Heaven. Asking is a way to partner with God for it to manifest on the earth.

‎•Ask the Lord, "what do you desire for me that would bring You glory?"

‎•Assess your request if it brings glory to God. I didn't say if it was perfect or holy or righteous. I said glory, does it give God joy, will all see your testimony and give God glory and praise.

‎•There is nothing wrong with asking God for a house, a car, spouse, provision, finance, connections and all the list. But check the reason behind the prayer.

‎Example if you ask for a house. Why are you asking? Is it because you don't have any place to stay? Is it because others have it so you also want to prove a point? Is it because you want a family? Is it because you want a place you can call your home? Are you ready to make the necessary sacrifices in your expenses to save towards it?

‎What I am saying is, it's okay to ask but check the heart posture, this doesn't mean you should be comfortable, still pray for the house and involve God as you do window shopping for the interior design.

‎•The next thing to assess is, how much you believe God. When you see Him as the Sovereign of all things with all of Heaven's resources you can ask for anything.

‎•Release your timeline when you pray. Sometimes you want a quick answer. But God works with a process. He won't give you what you are not ready for. It's like a child asking to drive His father's car.

‎We all know that this young one won't be given the car keys, but at the right time, when proven mature and taught the skill of driving, then he would be given his own keys and not his father's keys.

‎•God's plans for you are bigger and better than the best plans you have for yourself. A specially customized work takes time. A quick fix doesn't last.

‎•We are His children called to build legacy, let you requests affect your descendants, let your request be a generational blessing.

‎Father we thank you for your word, we thank you for your wisdom, let our eyes be opened and let our feet walk it and our hands work it. We love you. In Jesus Name, Amen.

‎A special invitation to you, to become part of the family, Father loves you and has stretched his arms wide open and says welcome home, if you agree to come home say with me:

‎Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.

‎Yes, He will answer you, don't over think, just ask, He would give you more abundantly.
