Insight Is Given

Welcome Family,
In this place you can rest your tired feet and be nourished from the Lord's table.
Father we thank you for your wisdom, revelation and insight. Let this honey and bread be received in warmth, healing, patience and a knowing that they are safe with you, Amen.
Our message today is "insight is given", I would have said, an explanation is given, but I feel what you will receive today is not just explanation but a deeper knowledge.
I will begin by sharing with you what happened to me a few days ago. I had prayed and received an answer to step into another direction of my life.
Not just a mindset shift or a spiritual shift or a stretching to do more, this one involved a physical move.
I had an urge to go somewhere and I began making plans. Mind you, I prayed and involved God in every step of the way.
Finally, yesterday I'm given a new direction and strategy to follow.
Location has changed and this time I have been given a helper.
I know I hear the Lord and this time, I know I heard Him. Even, with the helper He sent I had an idea, because He had given me signs already. It was further confirmed when I decided to meet. The discussions where aligned with the vision. A lovely surprise.
Now the question is, what happened in the middle?
Plus the battles I faced before the change in strategy?
This morning I am given an answer for a question I didn't verbally ask but quietly pondered.
God knows your inner thoughts and today you will receive insight.
My answer is found in the book of Judges 14:1-9. But there are some key verses which pointed out everything I went through in those few days in the story of Samson.
The only difference is, mine wasn't a desire, it was an instruction. Let me share with you the sequence of events that happen to me.
•Verse 2- An unusual instruction and request for help.
•Verse 4- A hidden purpose not known to anyone.
•Verse 5- A sudden attack.
•Verse 6- The Spirit of the Lord fell powerfully on me and gave me victory.
•Verse 7- A moment of reflection and finding out about a "purpose thief"
•Verse 9- "Insight on purpose is shared"
If you'll remember these are insights shared from the previous blog.
•Back to Verse 4- A revelation of why the instruction.
When I read verse 4, it explained to me on a personal level that the middle was necessary to lead me to my present.
I think without the middle, certain main events happening now in this next move or chapter wouldn't have happened.
Samson had an unusual desire to marry a Philistine woman, he told his father and mother his intention and sought help. They couldn't understand why?
Judges 14:4(NLT)
His father and mother didn't realise the Lord was at work in this, creating an opportunity to work against the Philistines, who ruled over Israel at that time.
I want you to take not of the phrase "to create an opportunity".
Today some of you may be in the middle, others approaching and some coming out of it.
I first want to assure you that, you didn't miss God but the Lord in His Wisdom used the middle, to create and lead you to an opportunity, to launch you into your next chapter.
You are still moving forward into your next and this time with all the help and the resources you can get.
Father, thank you for your word, let our hearts receive insight and all doubts be silenced in Jesus Name, Amen.
If you want to have a personal relationship with Jesus, say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
Don't worry you are on track, it's going to be better from here.
