‎Family it's great to have you here! I'm excited it's a day of realisation, filled with special treats and the moment has arrived.

‎Let's give thanks:

‎Thank you Papa for this meal let it nourish us, Papa cause the eyes of we your children to be open and let hidden mysteries be revealed, we bless you and honour you, we love you, Amen.

‎Let's eat:

‎Today we would be dinning in the book of Daniel chapter 3. This speaks of three young men who are friends of Daniel who find themselves in a predicament in the face of "authority".

‎A statue had been made that each person should bow down to it at the sound of the musical instruments and If you don't you'll be thrown into a fiery furnace and die.

‎Now these three men are not random people, they are in positions of power appointed by King Nebuchadnezzar yet refused to bow. They didn't just get up and show a public display of their refusal.

‎The matter is they got snitched on or told on by their colleagues who already has seeds of jealousy.

‎Now the King calls them for questioning and decides to threaten them with another chance.

‎This is what transpired:

‎Daniel 13:16(NLT)

‎16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you.

‎In verse 17 they said, " the God whom we serve is able to save us and rescue us from your power.

‎Daniel 3:18(NLT)

‎18 But even if he doesn't we want to make it clear to you. Your Majesty that we will never serve your gods or worship the golden statue you have setup.”

‎Next scene you can guess, the king is so angry not only does he throw them into the fire bound with all their clothes on, He increases the fire seven times, that the soldiers who threw them in died from the heat of the flames.

‎Even able bodied men died. This should point out the Lord had been covering them even before they fell into the fire.

‎Daniel 3:24-25(NLT)

‎24 But suddenly, Nebuchadnezzar jumped up in amazement and exclaimed to his advisers, "Didn't we tie up three men and throw them into the furnace?" "Yes, Your Majesty, we certainly did," they replied.

‎25 "Look!" Nebuchadnezzar shouted. "I see four men, unbound, walking around in the fire unharmed! And the fourth looks like a god.

‎In verse 26, he asked them to come out, this shows they could have left the fire anytime but they waited for the right time.

‎My brother and sister, don't worry your time is coming, it will be beautiful and magnificent.

‎Don't forget the Lord Jesus your defender is with you in the fire, you will be unbound, unharmed and walking freely.

‎Verse 27(b) says not a hair on their heads was signed or their clothing scorched. They didn't even smell like smoke!

‎This is the doing of the Lord and will be our testimony, no trauma and triggers will follow us into the promise land.

‎Father we bless you, we receive your word, let it bear good fruit in Jesus Name, Amen.

‎If you want to receive Jesus as your defender and companion in times of need and celebration, say with me:

‎Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.

‎You are free in the fire.
