I Will Stay

‎Good morning fam,

‎God is here with me, in this house and with you also. For some of us, that's all we need to hear when we fill our bodies getting weak. He gives rest, renewed passion, life, healing, love, compassion, and all that is beautiful.

‎Let's pray:

‎Father we love you, we are grateful, you know us, chose us, made us and called us. We thank you for today's bread, rich in texture and satisfying to our hearts, bodies, spirits and minds. We receive your love, Amen.

‎Welcome fam, today our bread is taken from the book of Judges.

‎Judges 13:16(NLT)

‎16 "I will stay; the angel of the Lord replied, " but I will not eat anything. However, you may prepare a burnt offering as a sacrifice to the Lord." (Manoah didn't realise it was the angel of the Lord.)

‎The story is about Samson's Mother and Father, in chapter 13 they receive good news that his wife who was unable to give birth would have a son. A set of instructions where given for the couple to follow. The husband was called Manoah.

‎He received the message like a prophecy but this was a divine announcement of what had already occurred in Heaven.

‎Our message is, the Spirit of the Lord has come to stay, permanent! He rests on us, just like how the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus, like how Jesus rested on the donkey to enter Jerusalem, like how the Spirit came powerfully on Samson.

‎But it's more than this, an intimate bond woven by Father Himself. We have become United in Him, fully submerged. I want you to always remember this no matter what life throws at you.

‎And give a thanksgiving offering and a praise offering to the Lord.

‎Some of you may not know God, others too want to be submerged in His love, for some you might not understand what all this is about but you want to be a part of this wonderful union, if yes, say with me:

‎Dear Jesus, I say yes, I believe you, I trust you and want to be One with you, come into my heart be my Lord and Saviour. I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen!

‎Father we say thank you, receive our offerings, let it be a sweet smelling sacrifice to you, we are happy and we love you, Amen.

‎(In our day, thanksgiving offering is monetary and is presented at church during offering time.)
