How to identify your gift and walk in it boldly.

Hi fam, it's another exciting day the Lord has made, filled with many gifts to unearth and discover.

This place is His house, a place you receive freshly baked bread from the Masters Table and delicious treats.

From all over the world welcome and let this place be your permanent home.

Let's pray:

Father we honour you, we love you, thank you for your word and guidance, open our hearts to receive and eyes to see clearly what you have given us, Amen.

First I want to break the ice with this statement, everyone has a gift including you. It may take different names or form. Some can't be described because of how unique it is.

And the Giver of all gifts is God, our Heavenly Father.

•Gifts Of the Spirit:

1 Corinthians 12:4-7(NLT)

4 There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all.

5 There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord.

6 God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us.

1 Corinthians 12:11(NLT)

11 It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all those gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have.

Notes:

Ask God about your gift. Remember your gift is to help others, meaning to create impact.

Some examples, the gift to teach children, the gift to plan and organise, the gift to tell stories, the gift to beautify others (designer or makeup artist), the gift to sing and many more.

•Your Unique Importance:

1 Corinthians 12:12(NLT)

12 The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:18-21(NLT)

18 But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where he wants it.

19 How strange a body will be if it had only one part!

20 Yes, there are many parts, but only one body.

21 The eye can never say to the hand, "I don't need you." The head can't say to the feet, "I don't need you."

1 Corinthians 12:27(NLT)

27 All of you together are Christ's body, and each of you is a part of it.

Note:

You don't need to look like everyone else or force to fit in. God made you unique with a purpose. Bring your uniqueness along wherever you go.

•Identify Your Sound and Play it Clearly:

1 Corinthians 14:7(NLT)

7 Even lifeless instruments like the flute or the harp must play the notes clearly, or no one will recognise the melody.

1 Corinthians 14:10-12(NLT)

10 There are many different languages in the world, and every language has a meaning.

11 But if I don't understand a language, I will be a foreigner to someone who speaks it, and the one who speaks it will be a foreigner to me.

12 And the same is true for you. Since you are so eager to have the special abilities the Spirit gives, seek those that will strengthen the whole church.

Notes:

Not everyone would be able to connect with your gifts it doesn't mean there is something wrong it means they are not your audience.

You are an ambassador of Christ, so no matter the space your gifts are displayed let it proclaim the Kingdom of God, let it point others to Jesus.

Example your gift of joy and your sunshine smile you share with others would draw people to you.

When this happens you use the opportunity to share your testimony about who gave you the smile and show them how God kept you smiling.

The Greatest Gift - Love:

1 Corinthians 13:13(NLT)

13 Three things will last for ever - faith, hope and love - and the greatest of these is love.

Today I want you to know the Gift Giver, Jesus Christ, say with me:

Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God.

I receive your love and new life. Open up the gifts you've placed in me and teach me how to walk it out, Amen.

Let's pray:

Father, we thank you for this blessing, stir up the gift in us, restore passions, heal weary hearts and give clarity to clouded mind, we love you, in Jesus Name, Amen.

You can do it! No matter how small it looks develop it!
