Hi fam, it's a brand new day, let us praise the Lord for His joy, peace, favour and kindness. Today I have freshly baked bread for all of us to eat.
Let's give thanks:
Dear Lord, thank you for this day and the bread you've given us, let your words nourish us and edify us. We love you, Amen.
Let's break bread:
Today I will be talking about how to strengthen others. To strengthen those around you is a gift and a simple but effective way to give help to others.
How do we do this? By our words, words of gentleness and kindness. In our scripture today Paul talks about speaking in the language of the people.
1 Corinthians 14:10-11(NLT)
10 There are many different languages in the world, and every language has meaning.
11 But if I don't understand a language, I will be a foreigner to someone who speaks it, and the one who speaks it will be a foreigner to me.
Today we are going to strengthen others with simple words and actions, this is our very own the "ART OF STRENGTHENING" we can create a unique book.
Sometimes we want to tell others about Jesus but we don't know where to start. Begin with kindness and loyalty, let your actions speak it's own language.
Have normal conversations and questions about every day life. Before you know it the Holy Spirit will fill your mouth with words the person needs at the appropriate or important time.
The Holy Spirit speaks to the heart of people and helps them see God. So you don't have to carry the burden of forcing people but the Holy Spirit leads them to Christ in love and compassion.
1 Corinthians 14:19 (NLT)
19 But in a church meeting I would rather speak five understandable words to help others than ten thousand words in an unknown language.
Let's pray:
Dear Lord, help us to speak to others in simple kind words, let our words strengthen, edify and promote healing. Let your peace continuously flow into every person and situation, we love you Lord, Amen.
Do you want to know Jesus, the one who speaks in gentle whispers and meets us right where we need Him. If yes say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
Say something nice and kind to someone today, love you guys.
