‎How do you recognise a message from God?

‎Hi fam,

‎It's great to have you here again. For those who are new welcome. If you've been following consistently, I pray the growth you seek will multiply quickly, Amen.

‎Let's pray:

‎Father thank you for today's bread let it nourish and edify. Give us your strength and wisdom. Let us identify the truth from the lies, Amen.

‎Let's break bread:

‎I have three simple points, strength, peace and order. Now let's study together.

‎1. Strength:

‎1 Corinthians 14:26c (NLT)

‎But everything that is done must strengthen all of you.

‎Note:

‎A message from God seeks to strengthen you and encourage you. It doesn't come to discourage or cause panic or cause guilt. Even when it's correction you must not feel so guilty and unwanted.

‎His correction always brings comfort, letting you know He understands how it happened and you would do better next time not by your own strength but by His Holy Spirit.

‎He will heal you and strengthen you.

‎2. Peace:

‎1 Corinthians 14:33(NLT)

‎For God is not a God of disorder but of peace, as in all the meetings of God's holy people.

‎Note:

‎Anything that breeds confusion, chaos, headaches or let's your mind go into overdrive is not from God. Some burdens aren't for you to carry, lay it at God's feet.

‎It may seem urgent and pressing as if the whole world is dependent on the next move.

‎Pause and remember who is your King, who has all wisdom and remember you are under a Heavenly government with all the resources you need.

‎My personal advice, do not entertain messages, people, conversations, or activities that leave you more chaotic or disturbed. kindly cease contact.

‎3. Order:

‎1 Corinthians 14:40(NLT)

‎But be sure that everything is done properly and in order.

‎Note:

‎Everything God does is done properly to the last detail. No shortcuts but with intentional planning. He always explains each step. Sometimes you are asked to take a step of faith and right after or some days later you receive an explanation.

‎If you are observant like me, you realise He has been giving you notices days ahead or sometimes months ahead. If something catches you by surprise always ask for an explanation.

‎His words don't change. What do I mean? He won't say I love you today and I curse you tomorrow. My dear that is not God. He is responsive to our thoughts and desires.

‎His voice has a rhythm and a tone of love. Any words that are not kind but seeks to target you and list all your faults, is not God. He won't tell you to do something without plans to let you succeed.

‎He isn't a loof but near. I want you to be intentional about investing time with God. You can be bathing and yet still talk to him in your heart.

‎Don't worry no matter where you are or how you whisper He can hear. He hears the silent tears and cries of your heart. Let's pray:

‎Father help us to see you more and enjoy spending time with you, Amen.
