Welcome fam, it's another beautiful day.
I pray for God's peace and discernment over you and sound health. Let our mouth be filled with praise and thanksgiving, Amen.
Today we have warm soup, this is going to be your favourite soup, I like beef pepper soup which has lots of ginger and garlic. I know some of you are vegan and on a plant based diet, you can send me a mail of your favourite soups you like, don't forget to add the recipe. 😘
Let's pray:
Heavenly Father thank you for this nourishing food you've laid before us let it warm our hearts and give us an anchor in you, Amen.
Let's eat:
Psalm 119:137-140(NLT)
137 O Lord, you are righteous, and your regulations are fair.
138 Your laws are perfect and completely trust worthy.
139 I am overwhelmed with indignation for my enemies have disregarded your words.
140 Your promises have been thoroughly tested; that is why I love them so much.
To fight doubt and fear is through the power and wisdom of the Holy Spirit who brings to remembrance the promises, instructions, concerning the path God has created for you.
He brings to your minds eye the signs you received and gives you assurance. In a new environment or terrain we are faced with uncertainty but we hold on to an end promise.
But what do you do when the path He leads you on doesn't seem to connect with the promise.
You begin by looking at God, the scripture says He is righteous and His regulations are fair. His personality and His heart for you has never been wrong or carried wrong motives, they are completely trustworthy.
What are your enemies? It's doubt, fear, suspicion and the need to define the how or control the process. You need to go back into your notes and remember the reasons He gave you, the words behind the move. Then reaffirm, remind yourself out loud and constantly. Remember your history together.
Psalm 119:142-144(NLT)
142 Your justice is eternal and your instructions are perfectly true.
143 As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in your commands.
144 Your laws are always right; help me to understand them so I may live.
When we experience pressure and stress it prevents us from having peace to enjoy the present life we've been blessed with.
The Psalm teaches us to always ask God for understanding when things overwhelm us, you are not alone, God doesn't want you to face every problem on your own, He seeks to give you peace and carry your burden. It's okay to lay it down.
When you lay it down it doesn't mean you've forgotten but it means you trust Him with the process. Remember the dreams He has placed in your heart and trust Him with the process.
Dear Lord, we put our trust in you, let doubt, fear, confusion and suspicion be removed and grant us your peace and trust, we love you and receive your love, Amen.
If you want to have a relationship with Jesus, say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
God loves you and sees your needs, trust him!
