He is calling you back

Hosea 11:5-11(NLT)

5 But since my people refuse to return to me, they will return to Egypt and will be forced to serve Assyria.

6 War will swirl through their cities; their enemies will crash through their gates. They will destroy them, trapping them in their own evil plans.

7 For my people are determined to desert me. They call me the Most High, but they don't truly honour me.

8 "Oh, how can I give you up, Israel? How can I let you go? How can I destroy you like Admah or demolish you like Zebolim? My heart is torn within me, and my compassion over flows.

9 No, I will not unleash my fierce anger. I will not completely destroy Israel,for i am God and not mere mortal. I am the Holy One living among you, and I will not come to destroy.

10 For some day the people will follow me. I, the Lord, will roar like a lion. And when I roar, my people will return trembling from the west.

11 Like a flock of birds, they will come from Egypt. Trembling like doves, they will return from Assyria. And I will bring them home again," says the Lord.

Hi Family, this is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in Him.

Let's break bread, Dear Lord give us understanding to your word Amen.

Notes:

-Verse 5-7: Talks about the outcome of our lives when we decide to go back to the past and our old ways of doing things.

In the midst of this, our Heavenly Father longs for us, He isn't happy, His heart is torn within Him, His heart breaks for His children. He overflows with mercy and love and refuses to let their enemies triumph over them.

-Verse 8: He says, he won't give up on you and He won't let you go. He has a burning love for His own, an overflowing love.

-Verse 9: He says, He still lives with us and doesn't come to destroy or condemn. He comes to dwell with us in oneness.

-Verse 10: He calls His own with might, with authority and power, breaking them free from strongholds, prisons of depression, sickness, low self-esteem, guilt, and all you can think of.

He calls His people. Nothing would hold you back when He calls you, nothing can seperate you from His love, not your weaknesses or past or mistakes.

Right now he calls you back again, to follow Him.

-Verse 11: He frees you from your past, your bondage, every stronghold, every addiction and makes room for you at His table. He says come home, He has a seat for you and a mission for you.

If you want to come home into the arms of your Father, say with me;

Dear Lord, I repent of my sins, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour. I thank you for sending your Son Jesus to die for my sins, to reconcile me back to you. I receive new life through Him and your sweet love. Thank you for loving me. In Jesus Name Amen.

I believe you would walk in new ways and paths. May the Lord bless and keep you. Father you are worthy and we love you, let us be submerged in Your love, Your sweet love. In Jesus Name Amen.
