Fam, welcome!
It's great to have you here, I'm honoured you keep showing up.
This means you've been breaking bread with us and the Lord our Father has blessed you tremendously and is speaking to you directly from this house.
If you are new welcome and take a seat at the Father's Table.
Let's pray:
Father we receive your word and thank you for the bread you give each morning. Thank you for your guidance and for nurturing us till now. Open our hearts to understand, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Our message is baked from the book of Exodus, chapter 16, the people of Israel had escaped Egypt through the mighty hand of God and He has caused them to cross the red Sea on dry ground.
Plus provided them with water in the oasis of Elim, there they found twelve springs and seventy palm trees. Now the whole community sets out from there and journeys into the wilderness.
I want to make this clear, they didn't choose to go, they are being led by God and this time He takes them through a wilderness. After a while the people complained of hunger to Moses.
Exodus 16:9-18(NLT)
9 Then Moses said to Aaron, "Announce this to the entire community of Israel: 'Present yourselves before the Lord, for he has heard your complaining. '"
10 And as Aaron spoke to the whole community of Israel, they looked out towards the wilderness. There they could see the awesome glory of the Lord in the cloud.
11 Then the Lord said to Moses,
12 "I have heard the Israelites’ complaints. Now tell them, 'In the evening you will have meat to eat, and in the morning you will have all the bread you want. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.'"
13 That evening vast numbers of quail flew in and covered the camp. And the next morning the area around the camp was wet with dew.
14 When the dew evaporated a flaky substance as fine as frost blanketed the ground.
15 The Israelites were puzzled when they saw it. "What is it?" they asked each other. They had no idea what it was. And Moses told them it is the food the Lord has given you to eat.
16 These are the Lord's instructions: Each household should gather as much as it needs. Pick up two litres for each person in your tent."
17 So the people of Israel did as they were told. Some gathered a lot, some only a little.
18 But when they measured it out, everyone had just enough. Those who gathered a lot had nothing left over, and those who gathered only a little had enough. Each family had just what it needed.
Today, we receive a lovely answer, He has heard and has made provision. I do not know what your needs are or what you are believing God for or what you've believed for years ago, He says, He has heard and has made enough provision. Trust it is fulfilled.
Let's pray:
Father thank you for your word, we receive your provision which you give out of love, not because of our actions or words but because you are a faithful loving Father, we say, blessings and honour to your Holy Name, Amen.
Do you want to know Jesus, say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
He has heard! He has made provision!
