God Offers Comfort To All

‎Good morning beautiful people. It's a joy to have us all here as one big family. First of all I want to tell you God loves you and remind you that He sees you and cares about you, your issues and all that goes on in your life. Let's come and sit with Him at His Table.

‎Let's pray:

‎Dear Lord, we honour you and are thankful for your word, which speaks to every need. Thank you for your Spirit which brings peace, joy, love, liberty and most importantly your presence, we receive your love, Amen.

‎Let's break bread:

‎2 Corinthians 1:3-4(NLT)

‎3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort.

‎4 He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.

‎2 Corinthians 1:8-10(NLT)

‎8 We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we could never live through it.

‎9 In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely on God, who raises the dead.

‎10 And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us.

‎Notes:

‎• God is the source of all comfort, this means when we receive comfort during bad situations it's from God. Matthew 5:4 says blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. So don't push away comfort when you are given, don't be isolated.

‎•When we are comforted, in the same way, comfort others, us God did for you, be the sunshine in their lives and let them also see and feel God's comfort.

‎•There are times we get overwhelmed with troubles, personal issues, inability to meet our own expectations, difficulty in walking in forgiveness and it points out our weaknesses, see this an opportunity to depend on God, put your full weight and rest in Him. Let Him be your strength, His arms are warm and filled with comfort. The same arms are mighty and can rescue you from any danger.

‎Let's pray:

‎Father we love you, we receive your love and comfort, we honour you and we let go of the need to control everything and make it work by our ability, we choose to depend on you, fill us with more of you and teach us to be more like you, Amen.

‎Do you want to know Our Comforter and Healer, Jesus Christ, say with me:

‎Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen!

‎Receive Comfort, He loves you, Don't listen to the lies, Believe!
