God has feelings too

God has emotions, He gets angry, tired, hurt and unhappy too.

Hi fam, it's a beautiful day, let's thank God for His unfailing love, we have breath in our lungs and no matter what you are facing, I want you to let God know that He is good and we love Him and trust Him.

Father thank you for your word and breathe your peace and clarity in our hearts Amen.

Let's break bread.

Today's message is from Jeremiah chapter 7, the whole chapter points out a beautiful aspect of God. He has feelings and emotions too.

In verse 16, you see Him confide in Jeremiah about what is making Him unhappy.

In verse 17 and verse 18, He points out to Jeremiah the reason why He is angry. This shows God gets angry and upset too and you shouldn't feel down on yourself for being upset.

In verse 19, He expresses how He feels, He says their actions hurt Him, you feel hurt in your heart, God has a heart too and He feels just like you and I.

As I read, I see expressions of unhappiness about the stubbornness of the people and wanting to withdraw from them but still reaching out to them.

In verse 5, you still see, His willingness to let things go, to forgive to be reconciled with His people.

That's why He sent His son Jesus to die for us. To be the way to reconcile us to God.

Father longs for His children and loves us and wants to be close to us, He wants to have a relationship with us.

My question is do you want to have a relationship with Him? If yes, then say with me:

Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to you, I receive your love and new life, Amen.

Let's pray:

Father we thank you for your love, we receive your word, we receive your blessings to proclaim your word, no weapon or voices will prevail against your truth. Thank you for letting us know that you are just like us and you feel too. Amen.

God loves you πŸ’•
