God doesn't threaten His children.

Hi fam it's a new day, it's actually a holiday in Ghana. I've planned to use this opportunity to rest and do what I love. No matter the country you are from make it a point to rest.
We have a warm bowl of soup from the masters table, with freshly baked bread, this is a healing meal. I want you to come with a heart to be healed for God your Father wants to heal some perceptions in your heart.
Let's pray:
Father we thank you for this meal, let your warm Spirit touch every cold place, let your hands wipe away every tear, let your blanket of love soothe every hidden pain, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Let's eat:
First of all I want you to know God is passionately filled with love for you.
Zechariah 8:1-2(NLT)
1 Then another message came to me from the Lord of Heaven's Armies:
2 "This is what the Lord of Heaven's Armies says: My love for Mount Zion is passionate and strong: I am consumed with passion for Jerusalem!
Many of us read the scriptures with a tone of voice in mind whether we know it or not and many read it with a harsh tone. No compassion but just a perspective of "If you don't obey you will die".
Some read it and put unnecessary burdens of "holiness" on themselves. That is not God's voice but a perspective you have based on the role you think, He should play.
If you have harsh, criticising, unforgiving parents, you will think God is like that. If you have friends who leave you out or don't care about what you feel, you think the Holy Spirit is like that.
Sometimes we end up doing all the things we are told is the right way to please God so He loves us but that isn't how a true relationship with God is like.
Some of the "bible scholars" will say that in the Old Testament God sent threats. First of all let's do some corrections. God sent prophets to warn his people.
He told them the consequences of their actions and the end result of what they put their trust in. To make it easier for you to understand let me give you an example.
If you are in deep grieve and sorrow, God wants to heal you and comfort you. But you don't turn to Him, you don't give Him the opportunity instead you decide to escape by drinking alcohol.
When you drink alcohol you loose your bearings, you are easily taken advantage of if you don't have a trusted companion, you get severe headaches, vomiting and body aches. Others become abusive to their families. You end up in more pain than healing.
So when you read in the Scriptures words like "God will bring something", it means if you still insist, He would allow you to have your decision to drink the alcohol and all the experiences that comes with it.
God isn't forceful, He gives you a choice. He loves you and won't push His plans on you.
So anytime you read your bible remember this scripture.
Hosea 2:14(NLT)
14 "But then I will win her back once again. I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her there.
God speaks in tender whispers of grace compassion and forgiveness.
Hosea 2:15(NLT)
15 I will return her vineyards to her and transform the Valley of Trouble into a gateway of hope. She will give herself to me there, as she did long ago when she was young, when I freed her from her captivity in Egypt.
God wants to take away everything that gave you trouble and give you hope and, let your vineyards flourish with beauty.
Hosea 2:15(NLT)
16 When that day comes," says the Lord, "you will call me 'my husband" instead of 'my master'.
A husband is one who loves His bride like how he loves his own body and cares for her, she is his missing rib, read Genesis you'll understand.
God loves you and doesn't say I will bless you today and curse you tomorrow. People who talk like that don't know God's love.
Let's pray:
Dear Lord, please fill our hearts with healing and rest. And every whisper of the enemy be shut down. Let them remember and hear your tender voice, Amen.
If you want to have a love filled relationship with Jesus, a more intimate love, say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
He loves you and honours you.
