Get ready for a visit

Hi fam, it's lovely to have you here, today, let us rejoice, for we will be receiving a special visit from the Lord but before I get ahead of myself let's pray.

Father, you are good and we thank you for your love, breathe your Spirit on this word, open our eyes of understanding, we thank you for today's bread, Amen.

Mark 1:3(NLT)

3 He is a voice shouting in the wilderness, 'Prepare the way for the Lord's coming! Clear the road for him!

Note:

I want to give you some points on how to posture yourself to receive him:

•Refuse distractions, be strategic about your time. We can't be busy moving and fixing that we are not still enough to notice His arrival.

•Worship, to be in a state of worship and thankfulness, the scripture says, He inhabits the praises of His people, worship is an invitation and also a seat you prepare for Him to sit. To be enthroned and lifted high. A sweet smelling fragrance.

•Expectancy, be expectant to receive Him and not His gifts, but be happy to receive the Lord of Lord's and King of Kings.

Prayer:

Father we thank you for informing us, we ask, you make our hearts ready to receive, thank you that nothing will hinder your work, we love you, Amen.

Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life. Amen.
