Hi Family, there is joy in the house of the Lord today, you are His Temple, don't be silent shout His praise. Let's break bread.

Note 1:

Every victory you receive from the Lord, you must give a thanksgiving offering especially if the Lord has been good to you.

Judges 11:30-31(NLT)

30 And Jephthah made a vow to the Lord. He said, if you give me victory over the Ammonites,

31 I will give to the Lord whatever comes out of my house to meet me when I return in triumph. I will sacrifice it as burnt offering.

Note 2:

It should be a worthy offering, do not be casual about your offering to the Lord, example your tithe which is 1/10 of your increase (income). It's also an offering of praise.

But in all this do it to honour God. Do it from a place of willingness not complaint or doubt. If you've made a promise to God also, please fulfill it.

Judges 11:34-36(NLT)

34 When Jephthah returned home to Mizpah, his daughter came out to meet him, playing on a tambourine and dancing for joy. She was his one and only child; he had no other sons and daughters

35 When he saw her, he tore his clothes in anguish. "Oh, my Daughter! " he cried out. ”You have completely destroyed me! You've brought disaster in me! For I have made a vow to the Lord, and I cannot take it back, "

36 And she said, "Father, if you have made a vow to the Lord you must do to me what you have vowed, for the Lord has given you a great victory over your enemies, the Ammonites.

From verse 38-39, she asks for two months to mourn, after, she came back and died a virgin.

Sometimes what we promise God would cost us much more than we anticipate, it's okay to mourn but remember to be honourable do not lie to Him.

Our instruction is to remember to give thanks to the Lord when you see your victory or promise fulfilled.

Another is, give your thanksgiving offering when you don't see the victory. It's a seed, sow it, especially if you feel the urge to.

This is an announcement of God's Victory and Sovereignty, a step of faith. Letting God know you trust Him and it sends a message to the enemy that their time is up.

Prayer:

Father, praise, glory, honour, to your Holy Name. We thank you for victory and your unfailing love, You give to us from your heart and we receive with love and thanks. We love you, Amen.

Our Heavenly Father sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins to reconcile us back to Him, I invite you to receive Him, say with me;

Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I repent of my sins, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to you. I receive your love and new life Amen.

If the Lord has been good to you, dance any how!
