I pray God's peace over you and His strength to fill you. Be blessed with a release, a shift in weight, as light as a feather and surrounded by His presence both inside and outside. Submerged in His unfailing love.

Let's pray:

Father we bless you and honour you, we thank you for the bread, thank you for answering our questions and supplying all our needs, we love you, In Jesus Name, Amen.

I will be giving you a quick background, first of all our bread is baked from the Book of Acts chapter 4.

Many of you know the story of Pentecost, where believers followed the instructions of Jesus to wait for the promised Holy Spirit who would teach all things.

However, this text is not about the Pentecost filling of the Holy Spirit.

That filling, gave them the ability to have a sound, to speak in different languages, for the people had their own language and the language of the Spirit (Tongues).

The more you read, you realise in their walk there was a continuous filling for each stage, season or battle ahead.

Now Peter and John, had healed the lame man at the gate called beautiful in the name of Jesus. This miracle happened at the entrance of the Temple.

The man who was lame for 40 years begins walking and leaping and praising God in the temple. This drew people closer and the disciples used this opportunity to preach the Gospel.

However some leaders were unhappy and had them arrested and brought before the council the next day since it was evening.

In Acts 4:8, Peter is filled with the Holy Spirit and speaks to the council boldly amidst all the treats.

The council releases them, because the miracle was standing before them (the healed lame man of 40 years) and the people where praising God for the miracle, they feared a riot.

Now Peter and John returned to the other believers and testified about what happened.

Don't forget to share your testimony so others can see and have breakthrough.

The believers lifted their voices in prayer Acts 4:23-31. Take time to read. I want to highlight some key parts of their prayer.

Acts 4:29-31(NLT)

29 And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word.

30 Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”

31 After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness.

We all need a fresh pour of the Holy Spirit for each season, month, year, new day or new idea. He fills us with what we need.

Now open up your heart, your mind and be still. Think about the Lord, who He is, what He has done for you, recount your memories with Him and worship.

Let go of yourself, He is holding you, He loves you and sees into you, allow Him to heal you and restore you.

Lay down your head on His chest and rest, you've been fighting on your own for too long, it's time to shift the weight, allow Him to be your pillar, it may feel scary but trust Him, you may say He disappointed you before but I say trust Him to reveal to you what actually happened, let Him breathe life to your weary soul.

Let's say together:

Lord, I receive you, Amen.

Do you want to know Jesus, say with me:

Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.

Be filled. You are in His hands. Relax.
