Hi fam!
A new day filled with the gift if joy God brings. I pray today would be a day filled with surprises. If you are new, welcome, let this place be your house, a place you will receive freshly baked bread from the Masters Table.
Let's pray:
Heavenly Father, we thank you for giving us life and for your bread today, help us to understand your message and not miss out on all the wonderful things we would discover through your word, Amen.
Descendants meaning:
A person, plant or animal that is descended from a particular ancestor. The word has both Latin and French origin which means to descend.
The word can also be used to describe development from an earlier or more older version.
A descendant is a person born in a direct biological line. Meaaning there is a lineage, were one generation births the next generation.
It also can be used to describe stepping out from an original not as a copy but taking a unique form which still has connections or characteristics of the old but isn't the old.
To have records of family history is good, it helps point to an ancestral line that carries stories of how the present generation was and is shaped. It goes a long way to help you understand character traits.
The strengths and weaknesses connected to a family, their way of thinking and you can trace the evolution process of a people.
I want you to know you came from somewhere and you are headed to another place. Where are you from? What has shaped you and is still shaping you? Where are you headed? Is it better than before?
From Judah's Grandson Hezron to King David.
1 Chronicles 2:9-17
9 The sons of Hezron were Jerahmeel, Ram and Caleb.
10 Ram was the father of Amminadab. Amminadab was the father of Nashon, a leader of Judah.
11 Nashon was the father of Salmon. Salmon was the father of Boaz.
12 Boaz was the Father of Obed. Obed was the father of Jesse.
13 Jesse's first son was Eliab, his second was Abinadab, his third was Shimea
14 his fourth was Nethanel, his fifth was Raddai.
15 his sixth was Ozem, and his seventh was David.
16 Their sisters were named Zeruiah and Abigail. Zeruiah had three sons named Abishai, Joab, and Asahel.
17 Abigail married a man named Jether, an Ishmaelite, and they had son named Amasa.
Jesus came from the line of King David (Matthew 1:1-17 gives more details).
God has a purpose for each person, I want you to ask God questions about yourself and what is His will for you? What path does He want you to take? Remember we are all headed somewhere, what is your mission?
Let's pray:
Father we thank you for your word, show as who we can be in you, teach us your ways, help us discover the wonderful missions, purpose, growth, talent and skill you have placed in us, lead is to become better, from glory to glory, Amen.
Do you want to know Jesus, say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
Be led to becoming! π
