Continuous Opposition To Rebuilding Yet The Builders Completed the Wall.

Hi fam,
Say to yourself these words "I will complete it", Amen. It's a cold morning where I am located.
The rains have made my night rest more comfortable. Yet the roads are like melted chocolate.
Each season has the upside and downside.
I pray no matter the season you are in, you find rest and peace, Amen.
Today's bread is special yet simple and not complicated.
Let's pray:
Father, with all our love we say thank you, thank you for the bread so sweet, thank you Lord for everything, Amen.
Let's break bread:
Our study is from the Book of Nehemiah. He was a man called to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.
During his mission, he faced some interesting oppositions, which I want us to be mindful of and I pray Sweet Holy Spirit opens our eyes to identify such people in our life especially the ones who come as friends and so called "helpers".
This is not for you to live warry or worried about everything. But it is to embolden you to keep building forward.
(**NLT**)
Nehemiah 6:1-3
1 Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem the Arab, and the rest of our enemies found out that I had finished rebuilding the wall and that no gaps remained- though we had not yet set up the doors in the gates.
2 So Sanballat and Geshem sent a message asking me to meet them at one of the villages in the plains of Ono. But I realised they were plotting to harm me,
3 so I replied by sending this message to them: "I am engaged in a great work, so I can't come. Why should I stop working to come and meet with you?
Notes:
• Nehemiah was at a higher ground in terms of the terrain and they where on a lower ground. Don't let anybody make you to stoop low to their level.
• This meet up was to convince Nehemiah to come into agreement with them. Always be alert when people with different agendas from your God given one show up.
• When you have shut the door towards some relationships and there are no cracks on your wall for them to sneak in don't entertain their reconciliation letters.
• Always remember the promise behind what you are building.
In Nehemiah 6:4-9 they sent threatening letters which purpose was to discredit Nehemiah before the king.
Remember we serve the King of kings who is above every authority at your work place, community, nation or organization. • Do not be scared or intimidated and hide your works. Be bold and walk your walk.
Nehemiah 6:15-16
15 So on 2 October the wall was finished- just fifty-two days after we had begun.
16 When our enemies and the surrounding nations heard about it, they were frightened and humiliated. They realised this work had been done with the help of our God.
• You and I would complete the building.
• Say "I would complete it".
Let's pray:
Father, we receive your love, give us strength, determination and speed to fly to greater heights, in Jesus Name, Amen. If you want to have a personal relationship with Jesus say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
We would complete it.
