Concern + Plans + Means

Hi Queen, rise and shine.
I have splendid news for you and I. It's really interesting, how the answers and solutions to the things we see are laid in the heart of His children.
The table is set, let's give thanks:
Father thank you for this meal, let it nourish, inspire and encourage us. Let us be full and free. Teach us to trust you with each assignment you've given, Amen.
Now let's break bread:
Yesterday I realized I was experiencing an intentional drought. It was the Holy Spirit that gave me insight when the purpose of the drought was achieved.
This drought postured me to have different perspectives and experiences. It made me realize a need, which then birthed concern, which translated to plans.
Finally plans were placed in God's hands and the means was promised for the appointed time it will all begin.
But if you know God like I do, you'll know that preparations have already been made.
Today we would be in the book of Nehemiah again. Yes, Nehemiah successfully rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem, with the help of God, however I want to bring you to the conception stage.
Nehemiah 1:1-4(NLT)
NEHEMIAH’S CONCERN FOR JERUSALEM
In late autumn, in the month of Kislev, in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes’ reign, I was at the fortress of Susa.
2 Hanani, one of my brothers, came to visit me with some other men who had just arrived from Judah. I asked them about the Jews who had returned there from captivity and about how things were going in Jerusalem.
3 They said to me, “Things are not going well for those who returned to the province of Judah. They are in great trouble and disgrace. The wall of Jerusalem has been torn down, and the gates have been destroyed by fire.”
4 When I heard this, I sat down and wept. In fact, for days I mourned, fasted, and prayed to the God of heaven.
This scripture points to information given, to birthing genuine concern. Many would hear but those called to be the answers will feel it feel within.
Nehemiah 2:8(NLT)
8 And please give me a letter addressed to Asaph, the manager of the king’s forest, instructing him to give me timber. I will need it to make beams for the gates of the Temple fortress, for the city walls, and for a house for myself.” And the king granted these requests, because the gracious hand of God was on me.
This was when God gave him favour in the eyes of the King. I never wondered how Nehemiah new what He needed, since this was not his area of expertise.
If you read from verse seven he knew the territories he would pass. Like he had a road map of the trajectory.
This scripture points to, means provided, and gives you a hint of plans given. However the next scripture just solidifies it.
Nehemiah 2:11-12b(NLT)
NEHEMIAH INSPECTS JERUSALEM’S WALL
11 So I arrived in Jerusalem. Three days later,
12 I slipped out during the night, taking only a few others with me. I had not told anyone about the plans God had put in my heart for Jerusalem.
This was during the conception. Now, when he had gotten a good look and scouted the land plus it's ruined walls and made a solid assessment. Then he shared with those who could help.
Some were excited to help and others were excited to be stumbling blocks. But the Lord helped them succeed with their assignment.
Let's pray:
Father stir in our hearts the right concerns, teach us your plans and let us be dependent on you for the means. Thank you for the honour to be your answers on this earth, we love you and receive your love, Amen.
If you are looking for a partner, I know just the right person, His name is Jesus, He doesn't just want to be your partner but your Friend, Saviour, Defender and so much more, if you want to receive him say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
God has many good plans for you. Get ready for an overflow.
Love Beth and Papa.
