Blessed and blooming in unusual circumstances.

1 I am the spring crocus blooming on the Sharon Plain, the lily of the valley.

2 Like a lily among thistles is my darling among young women.

Notes and research:

Spring crocuses bloom from late winter to early spring, with their exact timing depending on the climate.

They are among the first flowers to appear sometimes even while snow is on the ground as early as January, February or March.

There are colors like purple, yellow, white and lavender. They push through the soil in late winter or early spring, often before other flowers.

Buds emerge from the soil at the same time as the narrow foliage. A narrow foliage are the long thin leaves of plants.

They are an important food source for bees, while open blossoms of other flowers can be damaged by snow or extreme cold, however this will not harm the bulb or future flowers of the spring crocus blooming. (Say Amen to continuous bloom in your life).

The Lily of the valley is a highly fragrant plant, with bell shaped white flowers borne in sprays in spring, a woodland flowering plant.

It's also a shade loving plant, it needs partial sun to full shade protection from the harsh afternoon sun.

The Valley is a low area of land between hills or mountains, typically with a river or stream flowing though it.

The Sharon Plain is a fertile land located by the coastal region.

The thistles are invasive species with aggressive growth, it can be considered as weeds, they have distinctive spiky leaves and prickly stems.

There are different types. However two types stood out to me.

The creeping thistle which has a spreading root system underground. The second is the canada thistle that has a deep taproot and lateral roots that spread to form new plants, making these difficult to control.

Translation:

God is and has blessed us to bloom from unusual times, an early blooming, with beautiful colours, to breakthrough not according to the usual cycle of growth which is from leaves to flowers but having both stages at the same time which points to speed.

To be an important source to others in times of need, to be a solution and key player.

We won't be damaged by the extreme nature of the season but He has made us resilient enough not just to survive but to bloom.

A fragrant flower that depends on Him during the harsh days and blooms bells of laughter, joy and peace under His protection.

Even in the low valleys, by the coast, a fertile ground is laid out for your growth.

Though the thistles surround you, examples are the negative words and actions of people, the fear, the doubt, the confusion, the anxiety, the negative thoughts which want to give birth to negative feelings that stifle growth, you will bloom like a lily.

This message is to let you know God has fortified you and you are tougher than you think plus He has you covered so depend on Him, He loves you and is on your side, nothing will ever take His love from you.

Prayer:

Father we love you, we thank you for your word, we glorify your name, we receive the blessing to bloom and rest under your covering. Thank you for your Spirit of Ease. In Jesus Name, Amen.
