Hi fam, welcome it's great to have you here. Today we would be walking in a very unique direction but before that, How are you doing?
Are you taking care of your mental health? What is your body saying to you?
I want us to be intentional about taking care of all three parts of ourselves, that is our spirit, soul (mind) and bodies.
Let's pray: Dear Father, we thank you for such a beautiful day, fill our being, make us more like you, breathe on this word and meet us in every space or area of our lives, we love you and thank you for the bread, Amen.
No matter which position you find yourself, you are a leader. A person who has influence in the sight of others is a leader.
Today, I've found some unique keys in the Book of Proverbs, chapter 8.
Let's break bread.
Leadership keys:
Proverbs 28:2(NLT)
2 When there is moral rot within a nation, it's government topples easily. But wise and knowledgeable leaders bring stability.
Proverbs 28:5(NLT)
5 Evil people don't understand justice, but those who follow the Lord understand completely.
Keys to Note:
1β’ Standards of behaviour; One must know and have principles of right and wrong. A proper conduct.
2β’ Wrong intention, decision and actions, would either collapse the leadership structure or form cracks in the government or decision making body.
3β’ Right knowledge, wise counsel, good intent, decisions and actions bring stability. It's not enough to have a good idea.
You need to do your research, ground accessments, risk calculations, determining the type of terrain you are headed and use wisdom.
Get wise counsel from experts, other leaders and most importantly God. Always remember man looks on the outside but the Lord knows the inside, the beginning and the end.
4β’ Justice and people, a leader would always work with people. How you treat people matters, to be kind, peaceful, have genuine respect and concern for people.
Justice is fairness to individuals around you. Not being judgemental about faults, weakness or error. It's to be a graceful leader.
The best example I can give you is Jesus.
Our Lord Jesus led by example, not faulting us for our past mistakes or wrongs but willing to die for our sins, to forgive us and give us an opportunity to a new life in Him.
Give people the opportunity to grow under your leadership.
Prayer:
Father we love you, you are our shepherd the one who guides and leads us in all paths and seasons. We open our hearts to be taught by you. We receive your insight and wisdom. Amen.
Do you know Jesus? Do you want to have a relationship with Him? Yes! Say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
Be the Leader you are called to be! Be bold and lead! ππ₯βοΈ
