As children of God, how can we help others without a religious format?

‎Hi fam, welcome! I'm happy you are here again. I'm Elizabeth and if you are new welcome. There's lots of food for everyone including those with a unique diet.

‎Come and let's give thanks to our Father who has prepared our meal for today.

‎Dear Lord, thank you for your love and the peace you've given us, we thank you for today's meal, let us be nourished by your words and filled with what we need, Amen.

‎Let's sit, now let's eat:

‎Brothers and sisters, we are one big family, with many of our family members scattered in different life situations.

‎How do we help them in a practical way? Many of us want to help but don't know how? Whiles others have seen and learnt the old school format "the judgement preaching".

‎We, the new generation have a different walk with God. A more intimate knowledge of His love and His desire to gather His children and nurse them to health.

‎We, His children are made in His image and are His partners on this earth to help Him fulfill it. This is a special mission which needs all hands.

‎Now how do we do this:

‎1 Corinthians 14:3(NLT)

‎3 But one who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them and comforts them.

‎Prophecy is a special knowledge or speaking words revealed to you by God . Example when you read in Genesis that you are made in God's image, it's a revelation from God to you.

‎When you tell a friend who has low self-esteem or who doesn't like their body or appearance that God specially made them in His own image, you end up strengthening them. They are encouraged and it brings comfort.

‎What am saying is every good discovery about who God is to you, it's a revelation, your personal prophecy and when you share your testimony, it will strengthen, encourage and comfort. It can also lead others to Christ.

‎Finally let your words and actions do these three things, strengthen, encourage and comfort. Let's pray:

‎Father we thank you for your beautiful word, help us to live it daily, we love you, Amen.
