Morning fam, it's Sunday, a time to gather and worship as a family.
No matter the day you worship, the time, the place, you can speak to God and He would respond. You don't need a special day to praise, feel free.
Let's pray:
Father, thank you for this bread, let us receive insight and wisdom. Let our relationship with you go deeper and bloom into vibrant colours, we love you, Amen.
Let's break bread:
Jesus told a parable of the farmer scattering seed and the places the seeds fell. Matthew 13:1-23 please read to have a full picture of what we are discussing today.
I will zoom-in on the good soil which is the fertile ground, the text explains different types of soil, from rocky, to thorny, to wayside.
In my NLT version you will come across foot path, shallow soil, thorns and fertile soil.
Matthew 13:23(NLT)
23 The seed that fell on good soil represents those who truly hear and understand God's word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted! "
•How to be a good soil:
1. God makes you a good soil.
2. If you are willing to be transparent with Him about your thoughts, pain, anger, unforgiveness, weakness and perspectives. He would heal you.
3. Don't go to Him perfect say it as it is, He sees you and doesn't judge you.
4. Don't rush the process allow Him to break down all the mess and confusion into manure. If you want to cry or scream feel free to let it out, allow yourself to grieve.
5 Now rest in worship, listen to music and keep a favorite verse in your heart. It can be Psalm 23 or Psalm 100.
6 Eat some food and allow joyful moments into your heart.
•How to receive a good seed:
1. Be aware of your doubts, don't run from it, probe further and ask yourself why you feel doubtful.
2. It is the same way with fear and lack of trust, find out why?
3. Don't be quick to conclude that your present is the same as what happened in the past.
4. Don't judge things by others opinions.
5. Test it out and see. Go, look and listen. Don't be afraid and think it would influence you or take you away from God. For Greater is He that is in you then he that is in the world.
6. Take your seed, your spark of fire and tell God about it. Have a conversation with Him, don't be shy and allow yourself to be yourself in front of God.
He made you and knows how spicy you are or how shy you are and He loves you and won't force anything on you.
If you don't like something refuse it, even if they are quoting scripture at you. God isn't manipulative, He made you to bloom special in your authentic version.
7. Now run with it and make it multiply, for a harvest is already promised.

Father we receive your love, lead us always, Amen.
